Position directive was to increase capacity and bring new customers to a struggling Organic Coatings division in
a limited time-frame. Successfully utilized preliminary evaluation of the current facility, equipment, and
processes to gain authorization of resources for development and implementation of unique problem solving
methods conforming to lean methodologies to create a planned outcome within defined monetary parameters.
Planned, designed and fabricated new equipment and facility modifications to reduce TAKT times. Effectively
organized process improvements and continual improvements minimizing non-conforming product. Guided
reorganization to facilitate improved flow of production processes and established storage locations for
departmental consumables and enhanced inventory control.
 Decreased nonconforming product within the department, and reduced labor cost by 15% without sacrificing labor
force while increasing the quality of products and department efficiency.
 Designed and led fabrication of printing equipment facilitating increased capacity and higher quality standards.
Planned and executed capital equipment and procurement activities generating a positive impact to customer
requirements and on-time fulfillment. Introduced alternative approaches to production flow in support of chemical

Brought aboard to take full charge of Florida Finishing Co., a newly acquired, troubled commercial and industrial
painting company. Closely evaluated all facets of the operation, developed a cohesive management team, and
developed and implemented new policies, processes, procedures, and practices to effectively turn around the
business. Tripled the workforce, and guided efforts in areas of space utilization, quality control, conformance
testing, new product development, cost control, regulatory compliance, and new business development. Define
and manage customer driven accreditations for new business development. Develop scheduling efficiencies by
defining man and machine capacities. Developed company capabilities with the design, testing, and launch of a
custom ERP system including bid proposal and job costing templates. Key role in authoring ISO compliant 4-tier
quality system, and employee safety and training programs. Created and website used for internal work
instructions, and external marketing. Further promoted sales and marketing through select trade shows, business
to business networking, and other marketing strategies and opportunities.
 Upon arrival in 2007, company had accumulated substantial debt and achieving less than desired target in gross
sales volume. By 2013, eliminated payroll debt and reporting Gross Annual Sales volume of $500K.
 Organized the transition of Florida Finishing into a NAD-CAP accredited company specializing in aerospace,
military, DOD, Navy, and Air Force finishing markets. Prime customers include Goodrich Lighting / Military,
Lockheed Martin, L-3, Parker Hannifin Aerospace, and other fortune 500 companies.
 Defined operations to incorporate Lean and Flow Manufacturing methodologies that significantly reduced
nonconforming product, and balanced TATK times. Planed, supervised and execute work measurement through
testing and quality driven metrics. Participated in Kaizen events.
 Authored ISO 9000 compliant quality system to include quality manual, standard operating procedures, associated
operator variable forms, and work instructions. Strategically implemented process controls including In-Process
and Final Inspections conforming to Military and Aerospace requirements.
 Conceptualized, authored, developed, tested, and executed data bases supporting Enterprise Resource Planning
system (ERP), spanning production (PLM), and distribution (SCM). Created quoting and job costing templates,
inventory reports, production work centers, travelers, inspection forms, and testing documentation.
 Reviewed specifications to formulate bid proposals, cost estimates, production forecasts, determine
investment requirements, production costs, and delivery schedules.
 Conceptualized and implemented an employee training and safety program that spanned all departments
minimizing down-time and dramatically boosting production efficiencies, quality, and customer satisfaction.
 Upon successful realization of all goals, promoted to Engineering Manager for Florida Finishing. Key focus
