Dinsdagmiddag 17 april jl. ontvingen we een 40-tal klanten op onze relatiemiddag in Hotel De Draak in Bergen op Zoom. De middag stond in het teken van veiligheid, veiligheidsgedrag en –cultuur binnen de industrie. Het gezelschap bestond uit MT-leden en leidinggevenden op gebied van productie en HR. Daarnaast werd de bijeenkomst druk bezocht door een groot aantal HSE-managers. Aan de hand van een aantal presentaties werden belangrijke ervaringen gedeeld en adviezen gegeven hoe te komen tot een goed Veiligheidsbeleid. Spreker Dr. Walter Zwaard, risico-specialist benadrukte het belang van een situationele aanpak om veiligheidsgedrag te beïnvloeden. Geen organisatie en situatie is immers identiek. Annemarie van der Rest, Manager HSE van Shell Nederland benadrukte het belang van het management om veiligheid hoog op de agenda te zetten. Ze schetste daarnaast het belang van het stellen van duidelijke regels. Shell hanteert hiervoor de 12 Life Saving Rules die gelden als minimale regels voor alle Shell medewerkers. Daarnaast benadrukte Annemarie het belang van het regelmatig vieren van successen door het uitroepen van een perfect week in het geval er sprake is van een week met 0-incidenten. Tot slot schetste Cecile van der Velden als arbeids- en organisatiedeskundige een theoretisch kader over de wijze waarop vertrouwen invloed heeft op veranderen. Tevens ging Cecile in op het denken in 5 denkwijzen (kleuren van De Caluwé) die van invloed zijn op de wijze waarop organisaties, leidinggevenden en medewerkers omgaan met veranderingen. De middag werd afgesloten met diverse workshops en een dilemmaspel waarin aan de hand van stellingen verder werd gediscussieerd over de relatie tussen het belang van de inzet van (veiligheids)managementsystemen, de noodzaak van kennis over gevaarlijke situaties en risico’s en het creëren van een goede veiligheidscultuur. Samen met de deelnemers kijken we terug op een succesvolle bijeenkomst. Veel voorkomende reacties van de bezoekers na afloop waren: “VAPRO profileert zich hiermee duidelijk als bredere adviesorganisatie voor de industriële bedrijven”. “Deze bijeenkomsten vormen een uitstekend platform om kennis en ervaring met collega bedrijven te delen en met elkaar te spreken over vergelijkbare thema’s en vraagstukken”.

In de leergang maken we een verbinding tussen de theorie, praktijkopdrachten en uw dagelijkse praktijk. Gedurende de looptijd van de leergang werkt u aan het opzetten van opleidingsplannen, het ontwikkelen en implementeren van trainingen, het (mede) uitzetten van opleidingsbeleid en het aansturen en begeleiden van trainers/instructeurs. Bij het uitwerken van de opdrachten wordt u intensief begeleid door uw trainer. Voor wie? U bent werkzaam als trainingscoördinator, opleidingsmanager of leidinggevende met opleidingstaken binnen een productieomgeving. U bent vanuit de productie of andere ondersteunende afdeling ingestroomd in de wereld van leren en opleiden. In de dagelijkse praktijk bent u het aanspreekpunt voor opleidingen die in uw bedrijf plaatsvinden. Van u wordt verwacht dat u naast de beheersing van didactische vaardigheden ook in staat bent opleidingsbeleid mede vorm te geven, trainers en instructeurs aan te sturen en te begeleiden. U beschikt over hbo denken werkniveau en u heeft dagelijks te maken met het leren en opleiden binnen uw organisatie.

Afgelopen dinsdag was de aftrap van het Regionale Kartkampioenschap! En wel te verstaan in Zuidlaren. Na twee trainingsheats en de uiteindelijke finale bleken de operators van EON als beste uit de bus te komen. In de finale ging het er heel even hard aan toe toen een operator van NDC een flinke botsing maakte en in een nieuwe kart moest stappen. Hij stond op dat moment op de tweede plaats! Naast heel veel kart plezier hebben we het met de operators ook gehad over hun wensen rond het Platform voor Operators, het kennisniveau binnen bedrijven en veiligheid op de werkvloer. Over actionlabs Ontdekkend leren vanuit realistische situaties vormt de rode draad in de thematisch opgebouwde modules. De rol van de docent wordt coachend (met een Leerling Management Systeem) en de leerling wordt theoretisch en praktisch ‘ondernemer’. Zo brengt de leerling na een compacte, interactieve presentatie van de theorie de opgedane kennis onmiddellijk in de praktijk, door deze in de vorm van opdrachten toe te passen. Zo worden natuurkundige wetten gekoppeld aan het ontwerpen en bouwen van bruggen of de ontwikkeling van raceauto’s. Of wordt rekenen met hoeveelheden en inhouden geoefend door een appelflap te bakken, in de klas! In totaal zijn 31 verschillende Actionlabs modulen beschikbaar. Per module zijn de leerdoelen geformuleerd welke aansluiten op de kerndoelen en eindtermen van het reguliere onderwijs.
