Supplier Quality Management of direct/indirect materials and equipment laminator supplier at
Sunpower Philippines.
Leads the qualification of supplier through external audit with cross functional team focus on
Management and QMS, Training, Design and Reliability, Management of Non-Conformance,
Resource Management, Purchasing and Supplier Management, 8D, SPC, Document Control,

SunPower Philippines Manufacturing Limited – August 2007 to Sept 30, 2016.
1. Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer – April 2012 to present
Ensure qualification of materials for Solar PV module that conforms to SunPower specification
and requirement through quality management system and in-process supplier audit.
Involve in Engineering and Design by providing risk assessment of the supplier’s capability to
meet the requirements for the module such as performance, cosmetics and functionality.
Solve supplier’s material issues through problem solving methodologies such as RCCAand 8-
Discpline. Involve in solving material issues in the field reported by customer related to module
assembly parts such as glass, jbox and frames.
3. Performs Failure Analysis on problematic materials of module. Knowledgeable on module
assembly engineering and assembly starting from cellls up to all other materials that composed
Solar PV module.
Drive continuous improvement of supplier’s technical and quality capability such as maturity
tracker and performance dashboards monitoring (DPPM, LAR). Generate reports and review
supplier quality performance thru quality metrics and Quality Business Review.
Review and improve supplier’s FMEA, Control Plan, and SPC /CPK.
Establish/Create Incoming Inspection Guidelines of frames, jbox, glass and other indirect
materials. Generate First Article Inspection. Manage Non-Conforming materials disposition.
Establish supplier-customer business relationships thru regular face to face meetings, telecon
meetings and on-site supplier audit with cross functional team
Performs PPAP (Production Parts Approval Process) for every qualification of new materials,
design, additional tooling equipment, change in process, change in recipe.
2. Quality CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) – October 2009 to April 2012
Engage in total Customer Satisfaction through 1-5-30 SLA, solving customer complaints related
to field failure being reported by TSE.
Work with Customer Focus Team to meet external customer expectations in terms of escalated
issues by daily monitoring of Salesforce for any logged customer complaint and RMA to SPMM
Facilitate 8D closure to solve customer complaints internal and external. Work with
manufacturing team to drive corrective actions on customer complaints and field failures.
Assist and communicate to Customers/Dealers for every visit and factory line tour in SPMM.
