- There ’s no where to hide. Dean launched our Iphone/Ipad app for our ehr. One of our doctors said, I wish the patients stopped e-mailing me. My response was “hello!” – we’re in the world of social media- you should expect that. We’re also in the world of total transparency. We should expect that every one of our patients should know everything about us. Tell story of angies list. Saying Consumer reports is putting all data that you can find. And Carol.com. Talk about how it works. Sounds like expedia of healthcare right? We ’ll, we’re going to have that, and the yelp of healthcare, and the zagats of healthcare, and the trip-advisor of healthcare- as there should be. Patients should get to see everything about their docs, their hospitals, and their healthplans and choose because of it.
- And we ’re got other things- going for us. Umm, where are we on here. Oh God- yes, here we are. We have one of the lowest uninsurance rate, e.g. 3 percent. Compared to Texas at 20%. So we’re close to being reformed. We ’re one of the most wired states in the nation, and we must bow to EPIC to thank them for that. And this is not about the badgers, this is about teamwork between HC organizations – WCHQ, WHIO. In MA, we sought to beat each other up- here we try to make each other better.
