  1. Established: on April 1, 1976 Founders: Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne Total Revenue: US $ 65.23 billion(FY 2010) Profit: US $ 14.01 billion(FY 2010) Employees:49,400 No. of Locations: 317 retail stores Apple Inc. ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and since then has been reinventing and innovating not only computers, but also other electronic goods and services. Established: on April 1, 1976 Founders: Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne The company's best-known products include the Macintosh line of computers, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad.
  2. IPad iPhone iPod Mac
  3. iCloud iWork Safari Mac OS
  4. The first generation iPhone was released on June 29, 2007; the most recent iPhone models are the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which were unveiled on September 9,
  5. With the latest iPhone 6, you will be able to pay with your phone with the help of Apple Pay application. With a simple screen touch you will be making your transactions at stores. This is the perfect solution for everyone to keep their money safe and do more secure transactions.
  6. For those already wielding a MacBook or iPad, an iPhone seems the obvious smartphone choice due to Apple’s deep iCloud integration. Mac owners, for example, will be able to easily sync content on their laptop – such as documents, videos or music – with their iPhone, without having to manually do so. Windows laptop users with iPhones will see the benefits too, as iCloud is also supported on Microsoft’s PC operating system. iPad owners will perhaps see the biggest benefit of using an iPhone. Switching on automatic app downloads sets apps installed on the tablet to be automatically downloaded onto the iPhone.
  7. Apple always had a strong reputation in the security space. This is because, by taking a closed approach to managing its ecosystem, the company retains complete control over what applications and services that run on its platform. This makes it far more difficult for hackers to target its users, as they are unable to sneak Trojanized applications into its iTunes store.
  8. iPhone 6 has a 8MP Camera. The FaceTime HD camera is provided with a new sensor as well as advanced features and larger aperture allowing it to capture over 80% more light. Noise reduction have been improved, and users will be given the ability to shoot HD 1080p videos at 60 frames per second and up to 240 frames per second for slow-motion videos. -There have been a lot of iPhone lens attachments floating around these days, but this one is definitely one of our favorites. The iCam easily attaches to the iPhone and greatly enhances the functionality of its existing camera.
  9. With just a touch of the Home button, the Touch ID sensor reads your fingerprint and unlocks your iPhone . Touch ID is capable of 360-degree readability, which means no matter what its orientation — portrait, landscape, or anything in between — your iPhone reads your fingerprint and knows who you are. And Touch ID even lets you enroll multiple fingerprints. The benefit of Touch ID is that your phone remains secure.
  10. iPhone 6 performance is excellent and very powerful as compared to the previous models. With the A8 chip, a second gen 64 bits, which offers more than 2 billion transistors, along with the new graphic technology called Metal, Apple promises that this phone will have up to 50 percent faster graphics, and 20 percent faster processing power than its previous iPhones.
  11. One disadvantage to owning an iPhone is that if you have a problem with your phone and it seems to be hardware related, Apple policy requires that you visit an Apple store or mail your iPhone directly to Apple for repair or replacement. These things are not possible for every person so one facing it have to suffer a lot. There is no official way of downgrading from iOS8 back to iOS7, which is really difficult for people who have their heart set on iOS7. Apple iPhones are not very good for creating information. Their operating system is not equipped for multi-processing or for other complex work related tasks like presentations.
  12. There is no microSD card slot in iPhones. Its not a drawback in terms of storage as iPhone’s internal storage itself provides minimum of 16GB and maximum of 128GB storage. SD cards are essential for any phone for the purpose of easy transfer and backing up phones data. Although 16GB sounds nice… but what good is that storage if for any reason you can not access your data due to damage of some nature. Here, SD cards comes to rescue.
  13. You can't use your iPhone as a USB drive without a few tweaks, which is a standard feature on its Competitor the BlackBerry and Android phone. Unless you want to use iTunes gift cards. Data transfer using Bluetooth is only from Apple to Apple that reduces the ease of data transfer among apple and other cells. Data transfer using Bluetooth is only from Apple to Apple which reduces the ease of data transfer among iPhone and other cells.
  14. The latest Apply iPhone 6 buyers have discovered an unexpected quirk in their new phones: they bend when placed in back pockets. According to analyst, this might fall short of a design flaw.
  15. No user replaceable battery. Shorter battery life remains a common compliant among iPhone users, while some comparably priced iPhones competitors like Android and Blackberry phones have batteries that can last 2 or 3 times longer. Some competing smartphones not only offers superb battery longevity but also includes smart Action apps for automating certain tasks, including some that conserve battery juice. The battery also gets overheated by simple tasks like browsing over wiFi.
  16. We are thinking of improving this thing that if we upgrade IOS of an iPhone it cannot be degraded. Sometimes people upgrade IOS in their iPhones and after that they do not like it or its features and then they want to get back previous IOS but they cannot do so. This is considered to be improved.
  17. When we download an app, Android will show us what that app is allowed to do. Smart users tend to stay away from apps that give way too many permissions for the function that app is performing. I think users should have the ability to selectively grant particular permissions to an app before they download it. As long as those choices don't completely disable an app, this freedom would let users safeguard their privacy and keep apps from accessing any more of user data than they need to function.
  18. This feature will make sure that phone can keep going even after hours underwater, making it super –durable. No matter what kind of adventures you are subjecting to. We can use it in rain or take photos by the pool. A new water proof coating to protect the delicate electronics in your iPhone could mean getting your phone wet will no longer be a disaster.
  19. In iris recognition, the identification process is carried out by gathering one or more detailed images of the eye with a sophisticated, high-resolution digital camera at visible or infrared (IR) wavelengths, and then using a specialized computer program called a matching engine to compare the subject's iris pattern with images stored in a database. The matching engine can compare millions of images per second with a level of precision comparable to conventional fingerprinting or digital finger scanning. Iris recognition is most often used for security-related applications.
  20. A price skimming strategy focuses on maximizing profits by charging a high price for early adopters of a new product, then gradually lowering the price to attract thriftier consumers. For example, a cell phone company might launch a new product with an initial high price, capitalizing on some people’s willingness to pay a premium for cutting-edge technology. When sales to that group slow or competitors emerge, the company progressively lowers its price, skimming each layer of the market until the low price wins over even frugal buyers. ~ Stan Mack, Demand Media Apple has added a twist to the skimming strategy. Rather than introducing their products at a high price and then lowering their prices later, Apple stakes out a price and then maintains and defends that price by significantly increasing the value of their products in future iterations. Price skimming offers four major advantages…. It can offer insight into what consumers are willing to pay. It can create an aura of prestige around your product. If the initial price is too high, you can lower it easily. Finally, late adopters might be pleased to get your prestigious product at a bargain price, which creates goodwill for your company. A major disadvantage, however, is that large profits attract competitors, so this price strategy only works well for businesses that have a significant competitive advantage, such as proprietary technology.
  21. iOS is the foundation of iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It comes with a collection of apps that let you do the everyday things, and the not-so-everyday things, in ways that are intuitive, simple, and fun. And it’s loaded with useful features you’ll wonder how you ever did without. iOS 8 comes with big updates to apps you use every day, like Messages and Photos. A whole new way to share content with your family. And exciting new connections between apps and between devices. All that and more make iOS 8 the biggest iOS release ever.
  22. The new Health and fitness apps can share their data with the new Health app and with each other. When apps can talk to each other, they work harder for your health. Now developers can use the full power of iCloud in their apps and enable you to sign in with your Apple ID without sharing your personal information. HomeKit is a framework in iOS 8 for communicating with and controlling connected accessories in a user's home. Developers can enable their photo apps to edit photos directly in the Camera Roll without having to import them first.
  23. SpriteKit enables developers to create high-performance, battery-efficient 2D games. In iOS 8, we’ve added several enhancements that will make 2D games even better. These new technologies will help in-game characters move more naturally and make it easier for developers to add force fields, detect collisions, and generate new lighting effects in their games. SceneKit enables developers to render game scenes in 3D and is designed for casual 3D gaming. SceneKit incorporates a physics engine, a particle generator, and easy ways to script the actions of 3D objects. It’s also completely integrated with SpriteKit, so developers can include SpriteKit assets in 3D games. Built for developers who create highly immersive console games, Metal is a new technology that allows them to squeeze maximum performance from the A7 and A8 chips. It’s optimized to allow the CPU and GPU to work together to achieve optimal performance. It’s designed for multithreading, and there are great tools for putting it all together in Xcode.* METAl maximis graphics and compute potential
  24. Swift is a powerful and intuitive new programming language created by Apple for building iOS and Mac apps. It’s designed to give advanced developers the freedom and capabilities they need to create a new generation of cutting-edge apps. It also opens up a whole new world of possibilities for everyone else. Swift is easy to learn and use — even if you’ve never coded before. So now anyone with an idea can create something incredible.
  25. Apple is one of the biggest electronic gadgets industry in the world. It has posted revenue of $ 108 billion. Established in 1976, apple has its network around the world. It is the first company to launch iPod and iPad. It is a public oriented company & has computer hardware and software, electronic industries as well. Head quarters are at U.S. & has highest services all over the globe
