Based on mobile and social media trends,
Tripda re-thought what carpooling
should be like…
You need to know
about the people
you’re carpooling with.
With Tripda, you can
better trust them.
It’s fair to share the trip
costs when carpooling.
With Tripda, everyone
knows how much to
pay.
Carpooling must be
reliable and organized.
Tripda carpool rides
have detailed location
and time information.
Carpooling needs to be
simple and easy.
And with Tripda,
carpooling is always
just a few clicks away.

pemuliharaan persekitaran yang lebih baik dan pengurangan
permintaan untuk tempat meletakkan kereta. Berulang-alik ke
tempat kerja dengan kenderaan berpenumpang ramai

User rating system: Like other peer-to-peer services like eBay, we believe our user rating system – where drivers and passenger rate & provide written feedback about each other after each carpool ride – is an extremely powerful feature to ensure that all our users have a fair reflection of how each user is. User rating system
Ladies-only rides: Female users can opt to only share rides with fellow female users i.e. a female driver offering a ride in her car can always choose to only accept bookings from female passengers, and female passengers can filter rides on offer for only those where the driver is a fellow female. Ladies-only rides
Verification of mobile number & email address: Users are strongly encouraged to verify their phone number & email so as to be regarded as a more credible, trustworthy & reliable a user within our Community.
Facebook-login only: A user can only register and login to our system using their Facebook credentials. This we believe provides us details of their profile so we can follow-up any issues/complaints very effectively. The system also states the number of friends each user has on Facebook to everyone, so as to effectively discourage people from creating false Facebook accounts (basically those users with zero or only a few Facebook friends would be very suspicious to us and to other users, who would think twice before sharing a ride with that person). Security
Privacy of information: Each users contact details (full name, email, phone number, and Facebook profile link) are kept completely private from other users. Only when a booking is confirmed by the driver will these details be provided to both parties of the ride (driver & passenger) so as to enable them to contact one another prior to the ride to finalise details about their trip together (e.g. exact meeting/departure & arrival point). Privacy policy
Freedom to choose: All drivers and passengers will never be forced to carpool with anyone. They will always have the choice on exactly who they carpool with
License and Insurance: Drivers have to certify that they have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance policy when offering a ride
Internal messaging system: Before booking onto a ride, passengers can also ask the driver clarification questions privately through our internal messaging platform.
Trusted domains (latest feature): As part of our continuous improvement of our product and our increased partnerships with universities, we have developed this new feature whereby university users can validate their university email on our platform. They then receive a badge on their profile indicating that they are part of the respective university. This helps other users finding a ride on our platform to identify drivers who are from their own university, which creates an additional layer of trust when selecting the right carpool buddy for themselves
A car owner who drives 19,312km a year at an average driving speed of 50km/hr can save about RM6,000 by carpooling
