Lesotho is a landlocked country surrounded by South Africa. It has a population of around 2 million people and was formerly a British protectorate. The official languages are Sesotho and English. Christianity is the dominant religion. The economy relies heavily on agriculture and industry in South Africa. Lesotho faces issues with poverty and a lack of infrastructure like access to healthcare.

Here is the continent of Africa, and down here is South Africa. In south Africa, is Lesotho. Lesotho is Slightly smaller than Maryland.
The Lesotho flag was recently changed in 2008 to this version. The three horizontal stripes, each represent something. Blue: rain, White: peace, and Green: prosperity. What I first thought was a bell, I found out was a Basotho hat, which represents the ethnicity of the country.

Kaste Dam, located in Lesotho, is the second largest dam in Africa. It was part of the Lesotho Highland Water project. It is part of five dams that bring water to rural South Africa and Lesotho.
99 percent of Americans have improved water facilities, while 85% Lesothans. Lesotho has much more underweight children under 5, but the US society has many more doctors per 1,000 people. USA has several international controversies, while Lesotho has excessive amounts of child labor.
King Lestie III, succeeded his exiled father. King Moshoeshoe II. Later his father returned, and took the throne again. Then was killed in a car accident shortly after. King Letsie is king again. The kings duties are mostly ceremonial, so how the governing is not really his job.
