I am writing this reference at the request of Megan C. Norton, who has been employed in our
grammar school for one and a half year.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Megan for more than a year in my capacity as the
Headmistress of Jurisich Miklós Grammar School. She has been the native speaker English
teacher in several classes. In our school we have an English-Hungarian bilingual program,
which requires a permanent native speaking English teacher. We have had several ones during
the past 15 years, therefore I think I have enough experience to be able to judge their work.
Megan has proved to be a cooperative, helpful and effective teacher who is on very good
terms with both her students and colleagues. She is always interested in supporting others.
For example, she dedicated her own freetime to deal with students who needed help without
any pay. It proves what a helpful and kindhearted personality she has.
Megan has a number of strengths to offer: she is an intelligent, capable, dedicated, and
personable young woman She is extremely open-minded, ready to make new friends and learn
new things. She has made efforts to learn Hungarian language while she is living in our
country. She is always quick on her feet, with sensible reactions in all the circumstances I've
seen her in.
