performance across the three 
networks. Brands analyzed are 
Burberry, Chevrolet, Coca-cola,

Highlights 
❖ Red Bull posted over half the content, and generated more than 55% of 
the total engagements. 
❖ Red Bull posted 574 times during October 
❖ Coca-cola only posted 39 times 
❖ Coca-cola’s engagement rate is more than 3x the average among all 
brands 
❖ Oreo had the most equally-distributed posting volume across all 3 
networks. And the 2nd highest engagement rate. 
Networks compared and analyzed: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Report period: October 1 - 31, 2014.
Overall

Highlights ❖ Red Bull posted over half the content, and generated more than 55% of the total engagements. ❖ Red Bull posted 574 times during October ❖ Coca-cola only posted 39 times ❖ Coca-cola’s engagement rate is more than 3x the average among all brands ❖ Oreo had the most equally-distributed posting volume across all 3 networks. And the 2nd highest engagement rate. Networks compared and analyzed: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Report period: October 1 - 31, 2014.
  • 3. Overall 1: Despite relatively low overall engagement levels, Twitter still gets the majority of posting activity. 2: Posting volume on Instagram is almost equal to Facebook. 3: Most of the posting on Twitter is photos.
  • 4. Burberry 1: Burberry posts more on Instagram than on Facebook.
  • 5. Chevrolet 1: Chevrolet has the lowest overall engagement level of the 6 brands reviewed.
  • 6. Coca-cola 1: Coca-cola has the lowest overall posting volume of all brands. That’s likely due to use of heavy regional pages for more targeted content. 2: Coca-cola also has the highest overall engagement rate of all the brands reviewed.
  • 7. Covergirl 1: Covergirl’s Instagram posting volume is more than double their Facebook posting.
  • 8. Oreo 1: Oreo has the most equally distributed posting volume of any of the brands.
  • 9. Red Bull 1: Red Bull gathered a total of 2.7 million engagements, over 55% of the total for all brands. 2: They also have the highest Twitter posting volume of all the brands, as well as half of the total posting volume of all brands.
