THE 2011 MERRILL LIKE US AND WIN RULES AND CONDITIONS
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.
OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF U.S., 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF TIME OF ENTRY. VOID
WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. About the Sweepstakes & How to Enter: The Merrill Like Us and Win Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on
September 1, 2011, at 12:01 A.M. EDT and ends September 30, 2011 11:59 P.M. EDT (“Sweepstakes Period”). A
purchase will not increase your chances of winning. To participate in the Sweepstakes, "like" Merrill’s LAD Facebook
Fan Page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Merrill-LAD-Washington-DC/170838696303416) to become a “Fan.”
Each individual that is a Fan of Merrill’s LAD Facebook Fan Page at the end of the Sweepstakes Period will
automatically be entered. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person for the Sweepstakes. Multiple entries will void all
entries by that entrant. Entry Information must be submitted completely. Mechanically reproduced entries are not
permitted and will be disqualified. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook.
Use of Facebook, including use of Merrill’s LAD Facebook Fan Page, is subject to all Facebook’s Terms of Service
and Privacy Policies. Information is provided to Sponsor and not to Facebook. Questions regarding this Sweepstakes
should be directed to Sponsor at replytomls@merrillcorp.com, not to Facebook. Mail-in entries are not accepted.
Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Entries may be subject to verification prior to prize drawing. Any entry not in conformance with this description shall
be void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged or incomplete entries, or for transactions that
are processed late or incorrectly computed or are lost, all of which are void, because of computer error or
malfunctions.

2. Sponsor: This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Merrill Communications LLC, 1 Merrill Circle, St. Paul, MN 55108
(“Sponsor”).

3. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the United States (including the
District of Columbia), who are 18 years of age or older as of date of entry (“Entrant”). Void where prohibited by law.
Employees of Merrill Communications LLC, those involved in production, development, implementation or handling of
Sweepstakes, and any prize suppliers, or any other person or entity associated with Sweepstakes (collectively
“Sweepstakes Entities”) and members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents) and/or
persons living in the same household are ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes.

4. Prizes: On or about October 3, 2011, a random drawing for an 8 GB ipod Touch (Retail Value: $229.00) will be
conducted from among all eligible participants. A random drawing will be conducted by Merrill Communications LLC
whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. All prizes are nontransferable and must be
accepted as awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of equal or greater value if
the advertised prize (or portion thereof) becomes unavailable. Each prize winner is solely responsible for any federal,
state, local or other taxes that may apply to the value of the prize.

5. Odds of Winning Sweepstakes: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

6. Drawing and Notification: The potential winner will be notified via electronic mail sent to the e-mail account
associated with their Facebook account, if made available to Merrill through Merrill’s LAD Fan Page, as well as a post
on their Facebook wall or by private message within seven (7) business days of the conclusion of the Sweepstakes
Period. Each potential winner will have three (3) business days from the notification date to respond, or his/her entry
will be disqualified and his/her prize forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Requirements of Winner: Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules and all federal, state and local laws and
regulations (“Rules and Laws”). Potential winners will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a
Liability Release and a Publicity Release (“Affidavit/Release”) to Sponsor within ten (10) days after notification.

8. Conditions: By entering Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to all of the following: to be bound by these Rules and Laws
including any Terms of Service, Privacy Policies or Official Rules set forth by Facebook; as well as the decisions of
the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects; to indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities
from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes; to release all rights to bring any claim, action or
proceeding against the Sweepstakes Entities; and to waive any rights to claim ambiguity as to the Official Rules.
Entrants understand that this Sweepstakes is not associated with any prizes provided by Facebook.

9. Publicity and Privacy: Any and all information provided in connection with an entry becomes the sole property of
the Sponsor and will not be returned. Any personal information supplied by Entrants will be subject to the Privacy
Policy (and Terms of Service) posted at www.Merrillcorp.com and by Facebook posted at www.Facebook.com. Thus,
except where prohibited by law and Merrill Corporation’s Privacy Policy, acceptance of prize constitutes winner’s
permission and consent for the Sweepstakes Entities to use winners’ names, addresses (city and state), photos,
biographical information, statements, and voices for Sweepstakes for promotional and publicity purposes without
further compensation.

10. Disclaimers: Sweepstakes Entities shall have no responsibility or liability in connection with: participation in this
Sweepstakes; human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information; acceptance, use, or defects of
the prizes awarded; even if caused by the negligence of one of the Sweepstakes Entities. Entrants further agree to
indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability resulting or arising from the
Sweepstakes, to release all rights to bring claim, action or proceeding against the Sweepstakes Entities, and hereby
acknowledge that said Sweepstakes Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any
warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Prizes, any technical
malfunctions of the telephone network, computer online system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment,
software, internet service provider; interruption or inability to access Sweepstakes or any Web Site or online service
via the internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems; any damage to entrants (or any third person’s)
computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of this Sweepstakes; any lost/delayed data
transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects or any other errors or malfunctions.

11. Release and Limitations of Liability: Except where prohibited, by participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees
to release and hold harmless Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Entities, its officers, directors, employees, and agents
(the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes
or receipt or use of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be
limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be
liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to,
punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

12. Disputes: Except where prohibited, Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising
out of the Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of
Minnesota, and the law of Minnesota shall govern such disputes.

13. Rules/Winners List: To receive a copy of the Winners List, or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-
addressed stamped envelope to: Like us and Win Sweepstakes Winners List, Merrill Corporation, 1325 G Street, NW,
Suite 200, Washington, DC 20005. All requests must be received by December 1, 2011.

If you would prefer not to receive any further contest notifications from Merrill, please provide us with your
name, address & company name. Mail your request to: Merrill Corporation, 1325 G Street, NW, Suite 200,
Washington, DC 20005.

Eligibility: Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the United States (including the District of Columbia), who are 18 years of age or older as of date of entry (“Entrant”). Employees of Merrill Communications LLC, those involved in production, development, implementation or handling of Sweepstakes, and any prize suppliers, or any other person or entity associated with Sweepstakes (collectively “Sweepstakes Entities”) and members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents) and/or persons living in the same household are ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes. 4. Prizes: On or about October 3, 2011, a random drawing for an 8 GB ipod Touch (Retail Value: $229.00) will be conducted from among all eligible participants. A random drawing will be conducted by Merrill Communications LLC whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. All prizes are nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. Odds of Winning Sweepstakes: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. 6. Drawing and Notification: The potential winner will be notified via electronic mail sent to the e-mail account associated with their Facebook account, if made available to Merrill through Merrill’s LAD Fan Page, as well as a post on their Facebook wall or by private message within seven (7) business days of the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period. Each potential winner will have three (3) business days from the notification date to respond, or his/her entry will be disqualified and his/her prize forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. 7. Requirements of Winner: Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules and all federal, state and local laws and regulations (“Rules and Laws”). Potential winners will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release (“Affidavit/Release”) to Sponsor within ten (10) days after notification. 8. Release and Limitations of Liability: Except where prohibited, by participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Entities, its officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Disputes: Except where prohibited, Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of the Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Minnesota, and the law of Minnesota shall govern such disputes. 13.
