EXPERIENCE
UNIVERISTY OF SAN DIEGO, Biochemical Researcher June 2010 - December 2013
Modified and expressed DNA constructs in bacterial cellsto produce full-formor truncated proteins. Proteins were
then purified via ion exchange, hydroxyapatite, and sizeexclusion chromatography and subjected to bindingassays.
Determined protein abundance and stability via crystallization tests.
Experience culturing microorganisms, such as various E. coli bacteria strains, containing yeast DNA and proteins.
Operated specialized equipment such as UV/vis spectrometers and gel electrophoresis rigs and was able to
troubleshoot basic problems.
Collaborated with faculty to design and test hypotheses as well as discussing results.
Performed data interpretation and initial analysis of results. Translated results into publication material.
Presented project goals, methods, and results at the 2013 Experimental Biology Conference in Boston, MA.
ONTRAC, Package Handler/Sorter, Miramar,CA December 2012 - January 2014
Unloaded packages off trucks safely and sorted them to different areas of the warehouse.
Operated heavy equipment to transportpackages.
Lifted packages excess of 75 lbs.
A DELIGHT OF FRANCE, Server/Team Leader/Barista/Sous chef, Escondido, CA April 2013 - Present
Served customers by taking their orders, running food, and closing their bills.
Performed sous chef duties such as preparing appetizers and entrees as well as resupplying ingredients.
Managed coworkers so that restaurant procedures remain efficient.
Opened and closed, making sure everything was stocked and cleaned up to code.
