Maslow’s: Theory is based on the needs

ordered according to importance.
Herzberg: Theory is based on motivating
factors that lead to work satisfaction. Poor
hygiene factors can lead to work
dissatisfaction.
Expectancy theory of Vroom: Is based on
how much the goal is wanted and is the goal
achievable.
Equity Theory of Adam: The theory is
based on the importance of the reward linked
to the performance of the employee.
