2. Téamo is a clothing brand designed and fabricated to support ecological and environmental efforts to protect our planet. All of the materials used by our
company are made from recycled materials, and organic fabrics, produced in a sustainable manner. We aim to support local industry while protecting
various environments along the way. No fabric is wasted after our clothes are produced, as we ensure that extra material is used for other products, in
an attempt to preserve resources and energy. Our facilities are environmentally conscious, with solar panels and no pollutants or dye run off, to protect
water sources and ecosystems. Local artisans from various countries fabricate the clothes for Téamo, sustainably supporting them financially for their
efforts. Our products are created using a hand-weaving technique to reduce electricity use and factory machine pollution.
By incorporating ethical practices in our production we help protect various natural environments simultaneously. By avoiding pollutant run-offs, using
organic materials, and implementing solar energy we are saving the habitats of animals that would otherwise be affected by the clothing manufacturing
industry, through contaminated waters, deforestation, and smog. We are making a valiant attempt to protect ecosystems through our manufacturing
practices, setting an example for developing and previously established companies to make a positive change. Téamo has also partnered with the World
Wildlife Fund to financially support their efforts to conserve the world’s biological diversity. For every product purchased, 12% of profit will go directly
to this organization.
Our company name, Téamo, is the Spanish phrase meaning, “I love you”. We chose this name because it demonstrates our love for biodiversity and the
environment. Our logo features a paw and a peace sign in one, demonstrating our peaceful presence among nature, and how we attempt to protect
animals with our practices.
Our partnership with WWF has inspired our newest advertising campaign, “Fit For All”. The premise of this ad is to demonstrate Téamo’s
environmentally conscious practices. The animals featured in this campaign are wearing various items made by our company. “Fit For All” suggests that
the clothes are made using materials and practices that even animals would be proud to wear and support. The animals used in these ads were chosen
because they are all endangered or critically endangered. By showing the animals wearing the clothes we hope that prospective consumers will connect
with the message and therefore support our company and products. Each animal is wearing a different outfit, and due to the fact that the genders of
these animals are unknown in the ads, the clothes they wear are also gender neutral, a style universal in our company.
No animals were harmed in the making of these ads.
