2. What i know?
Mary mother of Jesus was chosen by God to be the mother of Jesus. She
was told this by the angel Gabriel. We call this the Annunciation which is
celebrated on 25 march. Mary was born in Jerusalem on the 8 September.
Her neighbour’s thought she was an ordinary young girl. It was God's work
in that made her so special. Mary was humble when she said “yes’’ to
God’s plan. She trusted and believed in him.
3. What i know?
Mary went to visit her cousin Elizabeth who was having a baby called John the
baptism. Mary wanted to help other people when she asked Jesus to change the water
into wine at the wedding. Mary loved Jesus and was worried when he went missing.
Mary and Joseph looked for him for three days. After Jesus’ death Mary was looked
after by the apostle John. Know we celebrate Mary’s Assumption on 15 august when
she was taken to heaven body and soul.
4. Annunciation
Part 2
Mary was taking responsible ricks when
saying ‘‘yes’’ to Gods plan. Mary used
persisting when finding Jesus they stick to
it. Thinking interdependently by working
with Joseph to find Jesus, Joseph and Mary
went back to the temple to find Jesus and
were thinking flexibly.
5. Annunciation
Gabriel said “do not be
afraid God as sent me’’.
God as chosen you. Mary
told the Angel that she
agreed to do what God
wanted. Mary was
frightened and shocked.
6. The church honours Mary
Part 3
The church honours Mary in different ways like songs, prayers, feast days
and Rosary beads I have chosen songs. There is a prayer named The
‘‘Memorare’’
