LILLIAN Towers, Dubai, U.A.E. HILTON (DoubleTree)
(Team Leader in Concept Design Development & Schematic. Involved in Final Design, 2012, 2013)
A hotel/serviced apartments development project, consisting of 4 basement
floors devoted to car parking, MEP services, BOH banquet halls and business
centre, ground floor, 2 podiums, 2 technical, 26 floors and roof. It accommodates
447 hotel keys and 136 furnished apartments along with 2 health clubs and 4
restaurants. The total built-up area of the project is 129,661 m² and the estimated
construction cost is $135 million USD. The project is under construction
(expected end of 2017).
Novotel & Ibis Hotels & Novotel Serviced Apartments - Fujairah, U.A.E.
(Senior Architect, Concept Design Development, Schematic, Final Stages, 2009, opened 2014)
Located in Fujairah, UAE, the project consists of two hotels, the Novotel (182
keys) and the IBIS (180 keys), which include furnished apartments, offices, 2
restaurants, a bar lounge, banquet hall and health club facilities. The built-up
area of the project is 61,760 m² and the estimated
Gate District Towers 3-8 Development Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. (2008-2009)
(Team Leader, Plans Layouts Design & Main Coordinator in Concept Design &Schematic Stages )
Located on Plot Nos. S6-C12 and S6-C13 on Shams Abu Dhabi at Al Reem
Island, the project consists of 4 towers (Phase I) with a maximum of 66 stories,
and façade area is 150,000sq.m. This prestigious mixed-use development has
been the largest project in K&A (CEC) business portfolio. The concept design
for the project was prepared by M/s. ARCHITEKTONICA (U.S.A.), while K&A
(CEC) was responsible for providing the detailed design services, covering all
major engineering disciplines. This landmark project won 3 top awards for Best
Architectural Design, Best Retail Development, and Best Value for Money
Property in the International Competition Organized by CNBC Arabia – the
commercial TV channel network operating in the Middles East / Gulf Region.
Completion of construction was November 2013. The built-up area is 1 million
m² and estimated construction cost is $1 billion USD (Phase I)
Sahara Mall Expansion Phases 1 & 2, Sharjah, U.A.E.
(Team Leader Main Concept Designer, Concept Development, Schematic 2008)
The main components of Phase I are 2 nos. basements to accommodate 953 car parking spaces and 3
levels of shopping mall with 22,413 sq.m of retail. Total built-up area of Phase I is 66,995 m2
. Phase
II of the project consists of 4 residential
towers of varying heights with 1,180 flats
(2,3 & 4 BR). Total built-up area of Phase
II is 220,780 m² and the estimated
construction cost of the phases is $144
million USD and $230 million USD
respectively. Phase I is constructed.

Empower Headquarters Bldg., Dubai, U.A.E.
(Main Concept Designer, Team Leader Involved In All Stages 2007 ,international competition)
This structure is a corporate office facility located in Dubai and
owned by Emirates Central Cooling Systems L.L.C. The project
consists of 3 basement levels for car parking (644 cars), ground floor
with retail areas, exhibition hall, auditorium for 600 persons and a
restaurant and 20 upper floors to provide an open plan office space.
The top floor contains a health club, gymnasium, and executive
lounges. The total built-up area is 80,000 m² and the estimated
construction cost is $57 million USD.
Royal Oceanic, Dubai, U.A.E.
(Team Leader, Main Concept Designer, Involved In All Stages 2007-opened 2009)
This commercial/residential development project
is located in the Dubai Marina Urban Scheme,
Dubai, UAE. The project consists of 2 Nos.
basement level car parking facilities, ground floor,
2nd
– 30th
floors offering studio units, and 1/2/3/4
BR apartments and 31/32 floors containing
luxurious duplex style 4 BR apts with private
swimming pools and pool deck areas. Total built-
up area of the project is 42 435 m2
and the
estimated construction cost is $55 million USD.
Al Marsa Tower(Marriot), Dubai, U.A.E.
(Project Architect ,Plans Layouts Design ,Concept, Schematic 2002-2003)
The project is a high-rise block of 63 storeys
(252.50 m in height) consisting of 2
basements for services, a podium 16.00 m
high to accommodate 500 car park spaces, as
well as a retail commercial use and typical
upper floors providing an assortment of 2/3/4
BR apartments. Swimming pool and health
club are also included. The total built-up area is 89,085 m2 and the
construction cost is $60 million USD. The building has been converted
into furnished apartments/hotel operated by Marriott.

Royal Oman Police Officers Club ( 5 stars hotel/Hilton Standards).
(Team Leader ,Main Designer, Concept Design Coordinator, Schematic 2013-2014)
This project is a recreational and residential
development in Oman. The site area is 245,000 sq.m.
with a built-up area of 44,158 sq.m. The hotel consists
of a lower ground and floor, a mezzanine level, a
technical floor,4 residential floors and rooftop; it
features 142 residential units, 2 banquet halls for 2000
persons, 2 large restaurants, meetings rooms, business center, executive club lounges, offices, 2
cafeterias, a wellness and fitness center with an indoor semi-Olympic swimming pool, a majlis,
retail areas and other facilities (maintenance, BOH, and MEP services). Moreover, the project
includes a staff accommodation and central service block of an area totaling 2,225 sq.m. In addition,
the club parking capacity accommodates 1,043 cars, 6 buses and 24 golf carts. The
estimated construction cost is $80 million USD.
Dubiotech Villas Development, Dubai, U.A.E.
(Team Leader in Concept design development, 2013)
The project consists of 44 different types
of villas 3‐BR, and 4 BR detached and
semi‐attached units, a retail plaza, and
health club. The construction completion
date was October 2014. The total built-up
area is 160,000 m² and the estimated
construction cost was $230 million USD.
Al Habtoor City, Dubai, U.A.E. hotel development (St. Regis, Westin and W hotels)
(Concept Design Coordinator, 2012-2013)
Total number of hotel keys is 1,554 keys; total
number of water theatre seats is 1,314 seats
Total built-up area of 364,000 m² and the
estimated construction cost $635 million USD

The project is located within Al Azhar University Compound. It consists
of one basement (parking for 60 cars, ground floor that accommodates
entrances, facilities and public admin, 4 floors accommodating 24
classrooms, 6 labs, and 55 staff offices and roof. The total built-up area
is 12325 m² and the estimated construction cost is $9 million USD.

(Team Leader Main Concept Designer,involved in all stages 2008)
260 guest rooms, 40 suites. The built-up area is 42075 m² and
the estimated construction cost is $67 million USD.
Shahla Tower - Plot 9G, Dubai, U.A.E.
(Main Concept Designer, Involved in All Stages 2006.under constuction)
The Shahla Tower is a Commercial/Residential development .
The Project consists of Four Basement Levels devoted to Car
Parking, Ground Floor containing Retail Areas and Studio Units
as well as Residential Apartments, First Floor consisting of
Studio Units and 2/3/4 Bedroom Apartments, Second Floor
providing Health Club, Gymnasium, Swimming Pool .3rd to 40th
Floors (38 Nos. Total) offering 1/2/3/4 Bedroom Residential
Apartments. The total built up area of the Project is 51120 M.

The project is a commercial / offices development located on
a plot of 1,625 m² in Sharjah, UAE.
The main elements of the 16 storey project are: 3 nos.
basement levels providing 121 car parks, ground floor
comprising entrance hall and retail areas, first floor consisting
of retail areas and offices, second floor housing a
multipurpose hall, conference room and cafeteria and 8
typical floors devoted to open plan office spaces.
Construction cost US$ 20 Million.

The top floor contains a health club, gymnasium, and executive lounges. The total built-up area is 80,000 m² and the estimated construction cost is $57 million USD. Royal Oceanic, Dubai, U.A.E. (Team Leader, Main Concept Designer, Involved In All Stages 2007-opened 2009) This commercial/residential development project is located in the Dubai Marina Urban Scheme, Dubai, UAE. The project consists of 2 Nos. basement level car parking facilities, ground floor, 2nd – 30th floors offering studio units, and 1/2/3/4 BR apartments and 31/32 floors containing luxurious duplex style 4 BR apts with private swimming pools and pool deck areas. Total built- up area of the project is 42 435 m2 and the estimated construction cost is $55 million USD. Al Marsa Tower(Marriot), Dubai, U.A.E. (Project Architect ,Plans Layouts Design ,Concept, Schematic 2002-2003) The project is a high-rise block of 63 storeys (252.50 m in height) consisting of 2 basements for services, a podium 16.00 m high to accommodate 500 car park spaces, as well as a retail commercial use and typical upper floors providing an assortment of 2/3/4 BR apartments. Swimming pool and health club are also included. The total built-up area is 89,085 m2 and the construction cost is $60 million USD. (Team Leader ,Main Designer, Concept Design Coordinator, Schematic 2013-2014) This project is a recreational and residential development in Oman. The site area is 245,000 sq.m. with a built-up area of 44,158 sq.m. The hotel consists of a lower ground and floor, a mezzanine level, a technical floor,4 residential floors and rooftop; it features 142 residential units, 2 banquet halls for 2000 persons, 2 large restaurants, meetings rooms, business center, executive club lounges, offices, 2 cafeterias, a wellness and fitness center with an indoor semi-Olympic swimming pool, a majlis, retail areas and other facilities (maintenance, BOH, and MEP services). Moreover, the project includes a staff accommodation and central service block of an area totaling 2,225 sq.m. In addition, the club parking capacity accommodates 1,043 cars, 6 buses and 24 golf carts. The estimated construction cost is $80 million USD. Dubiotech Villas Development, Dubai, U.A.E. (Team Leader in Concept design development, 2013) The project consists of 44 different types of villas 3‐BR, and 4 BR detached and semi‐attached units, a retail plaza, and health club. The construction completion date was October 2014. The total built-up area is 160,000 m² and the estimated construction cost was $230 million USD.
