1. PLC & SCADA Fire fighting system for RAS GHAREB Petroleum Treatment
Station.
Client: Egyptian maintenance company (EMC).
Description: based on Siemens (PLC S7-400 5H, Distributed I/Os ET200M, fail safe
signal modules and WINCC SCADA)
This was a control system utilizing the S7-400 PLC to control Fire fighting System
(Valves, Pressure switches, temper switches, linear heat detectors, gas transmitters
and Smoke/Heat detectors through server pc station and MIMIC’s.
Software used: SIMATIC STEP7 5.5, WINCC 7.0.
2. PLC & SCADA Industrial Gas Monitoring Center.
Client: EZZ DEKHEILA STEEL COMPANT (EZDK)
Description: based on Siemens (PLC S7-300 Stations, WINCC SCADA)
This was a control system utilizing the PLC S7-300 stations to monitoring industrial
gases from the factories. The factories connected to each other with fiber optical
cables and used OLM device to connect fiber network with the PROFIBUS network.
SIMATIC PC working as Server to Monitor Gases.
Software used: SIMATIC STEP7 5.5, WINCC 7.0.
3. Water Potable and Irrigation Pump Station.
Client: ORASCOM - Cairo Festival City CFC.
Description: based on Siemens (PLC S7-300)
This was a control system utilizing the S7-300 PLC control Water Potable and
Irrigation Pump Station.
Software used: SIMATIC STEP7 5.5.
4. Sewage Pump Station.
Client: ORASCOM - Cairo Festival City CFC.
Description: based on Siemens (PLC S7-300)
This was a control system utilizing the S7-300 PLC control Sewage Pump Station.

5. Upgrade CORC Water station.
Client: Cairo Oil Refining Company (CORC) .
Description: based on Siemens (PLC S7-300)
This was a control system utilizing the S5 PLC replaced with S7-300 PLC and SCADA .

6. SCADA Boiler.
Client: Nasr Petroleum Company, Suez Egypt (NPC)
Software used: WINCC 7.3.
7. EMCS (Electrical Monitoring and Control System)
Client: ABU QIR THERMAL POWER PLANT UNITS 6&7 (West Delta Production
Company WDPCO)
Description: Based on Siemens (S7-400H, S7-300, Distributed I/Os ET200M,
SIMATIC panel mounted touch HMI, WINCC SCADA and SCALANCE networking
system).
3. This was a monitoring and control system utilizing the S7-400H and S7-300 PLC to and
WINCC SCADA and local panel mounted HMI to operate, monitor, control, present
log, print alarms, events, and trends recorded process variables. The system included
the logic interlocks for manual operation of fast transfer system; the system had a
redundant communication network and redundant PLC architecture by using Fiber
optical, PROFIBUS and MPI Cables where high availability was required, a Server,
Engineering station, and Operator station.
The system was then connected to the DCS of the plant utilizing OPC protocol.
Software used: SIMATIC STEP7 5.5, WINCC flexible 2008, WINCC 7.0.
8. Tunnel Lighting.
Client: ORASCOM - Cairo Festival City CFC.
Description: based on Siemens (PLC S7-300, MP 377 12'' HMI, LUX Sensors and
Temperature Sensors)
This was a control system utilizing the S7-300 PLC, LUX sensors to control Tunnel
Lighting and Temperature sensors to control Fans of room panel
The HMI display was installed to monitor and present alarms of the system and allow
the operator to adjust Tunnel Lighting and Fans of room panel operation.
Software used: SIMATIC STEP7 5.5, WINCC flexible 2008.
9. El AMRIYA Sewage Plants.
Client: (Alexandria General Organization for Sanitary Drainage AGOSD) in El AMYRIA
Alexandria.
Description: based on Siemens (PLC S7-1200, GSM Communication Processor
Module (CP1242-7) and KTP1000 HMI)
This was a control system utilizing the S7-1200 PLC and GSM Communication
Processor Module (CP1242-7) to control four Sewage plants distance between them
more than 40 Km the control system
The HMI display was installed to monitor and present alarms of the system and allow
the operator to control four Sewage plants.
Software used: TIA Portal STEP 7 Basic V12.0, TELECONTROL SERVER BASIC.
