They come in second part of the speaking interview where examiner gives you a minute with a pen and paper to prepare notes , once one minutes completes examiner asks you to speak about the Que card for two minutes. So you have to speak for two minutes, however, examiner may stop you before but you should be ready to speak for two minutes.

These speaking Que cards have been shared by Sir Alam‘s students and online IELTSExpert
users all over the world who got them in their recent exams in 2013. The reason i am posting
these Que cards, is there are chances you may get one of them in your real exam. That doesn’t
mean you should depend on them completely, just practice speaking them for two minutes
between 3-5 Que cards daily depending how closer your exam is. If your exam is not in near
date, it is ideal to pratice 3-5 daily by recording them and listening them again and again to see
where your problems are.

IELTS speaking Que card # 1
Describe an activity you do in your free time.
You should say:
What activity it is.
Where you do this activity.
When you do this activity.
and explain how you do this activity.
2. IELTS speaking Que card # 2
Describe a conversation you had with somebody.
You should say:
Who this person was.
Where this conversation was.
When it was.
and explain what this conversation was about.

Describe a job you like
You should say:
What this job is
Where it is
How you know about it
and explain why you like this job

Describe art and painting you saw.
You should say:
