Discover the three states of matter by going through all slides. If you want any slide show which you are into, please comment down below and I will try my best to upload it for you.
6. PARTICLE ARRANGEMENTS IN
MATTER
Solids
The molecules are very
close to each other and
tightly packed
Liquids
The molecules are not
as tightly packed as in
solids. The are a little
apart from each other
and that is why they
flow and take the shape
of the container.
Gases
The molecules are very
far away from each
other and are free to
move around.
7. CHANGE OF STATE IN
MATTER
• All matter exists as solids, liquids, or gases. These are called the states of matter. Matter
can change from one state to another if heated or cooled. If ice (a solid) is heated it
changes to water (a liquid). This change is called MELTING. If water is heated, it
changes to steam (a gas). This change is called BOILING. The particles of ice, water, and
steam are identical, but arranged differently.-
