Interpreting in May 2011.I am currently seeking an Associate’s degree in Medical Office Administration and my main
focus in Medical Billing and Encoding and hope to achieve this goal by spring of 2017.
I was inducted into the Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society November of 2015.
My work experience has been in many different kinds of jobs. Currently I am working as a Sign Language Interpreter for
Gaston County schools where I have been for the past 4 years. Before that I was a head life guard for the YMCAin Boiling
Springs, NC where I life guarded and communicated with the generalpublicby teaching them how to swim and the safety
guides of the pool. I have worked for CVS Pharmacy for 3 years as a cashier, photolab technician, and a shift supervisor. I
have had some waitressing jobs while in college.
I am seeking a career in the medical field in medicaloffice administration or in medical billing and encoding. I have been
told I am easy to work with, I always have a smile on my face and love to do my jobs to the best of my ability. I am able to
communicate with the generalpublic and also with those whoare hearing impaired.
