3.   Write the equation of the line that is perpendicular to the given line and passes through
     the given point. Then find the parallel line going through the point too.
Solve each of the following linear systems by graphing.

1.    2x + y = 4

2.    x − 2y = 2
     2x + 5y = −5
Solve each of the following linear systems using the substitution method.

1.   2x + 4y = 8
     5x + y = -7




2.    x + 2y = 3
     2x + 4y = 6
