2. Importance of fine dining in
professional life
Fine dining has a great significance in
professional life.
Its not only about eating or dining or showing
how well mannered we are while we eat.
Actually in different institutions and
companies dinner or lunch are the way to
gather the employees to have some sort of
meeting or to interview the new employees.

So , its necessary that fine dining etiquette be
maintained as in such professional life and other
formal situation dining is just one another way to
gather and communicate.
As we know good communication requires good
etiquettes and behaviour. So , one needs to show
good etiquettes over dinner too.
Afterall there is some difference between animals
and humans with good etiquettes in professional
setup!

5. Different scenarios of fine dining
Workplace:
• Avoid being crazy about food during
office hours.
• Non- veg foods to be avoided since many
organizations don’t prefer that
employees are bringing such food into
office.

7. • Scattered papers seem like you are
actually working hard but scattered
sauces or ready to eat food like potato
chips etc. shows how much an
unorganized employee you are, who
deals with work or with food.
• Desk area should be neat & clean.

8. • Formal Parties:
• At various workplaces, office birthday
parties and capturing moments of other
similar celebrations are weekly/ monthly
episodes.
• While the magnetism of cake is more
tempting, you should maintain decorum
of food etiquettes even as you celebrate
more or more endlessly.

or other served food and avoid taking a
little extra for later.
• Taking your treats back to your home
should be avoided.

It signifies that in table settings Bread
should be on the left, meal in the middle
and water(liquids) on the right.

Talk about pleasant things.
Place your napkin on your lap. As soon as
you’re seated you should unfold the napkin
and place it on your lap. The napkin remains
on your lap during the entire meal. If you was
to get up for whatever reason, place the
napkin on the chair.

ask. Or simply don’t order that dish.
Sit properly and straight in your chair.
Wait until everyone has their food before you
start eating.
Say Excuse me or apologize if you burp.
Though you should not fear burping it is best
to avoid it.
