According to FinancialTimes ranking, the Master of
Finance (MSc) programme offered by Frankfurt School
of Finance & Management is ranked as #32 worldwide.
It retains its position as one of the best Universities
in Germany, demonstrating its leading position as a
finance specialist institution.
Finance Lab
Access to Bloomberg and Reuters terminals provides
you with an opportunity to analyse the real-life
financial market. Students will make use of the
Finance Lab for various in-class assignments and
case studies as well as taking part in the Bloomberg
Markets Access Training.
Four concentrations
In the 2nd semester you will have the opportunity
to choose one of the following 4 concentrations:

CFA University Affiliation Programme
The Master of Finance is a member of the CFA
Institute University Affiliation Programme, meaning
that our degree incorporates at least 70% of the
CFA Programme Candidate Body of Knowledge
(CBOK).Through participation in this programme,
Frankfurt School is eligible to award student
scholarships for the CFA exam each year.
Academic Partnership with GARP & FIRM
The Master of Finance (Risk Management
concentration) is the first programme in Germany
to be accredited by the Global Association of Risk
Professionals (GARP).
Students who pass the FRM exam may be eligible
to waive one elective. Students who choose the
Risk Management concentration can apply for the
FIRM scholarship and have the opportunity to win
the monetary Risk Management award, presented
at the graduation ceremony.
Academic Partnership with CAIA
The Master of Finance is an official partner of the
CharteredAlternative InvestmentAnalystAssociation.
Students have access to CAIAAssociation's curriculum
in order to successfully become a Chartered
Alternative Investment Analyst.
This includes scholarships for CAIA - level I and II
exams,access to the Center for International Securities
and Derivatives Markets (CISDM), Hedge Fund
Database, as well as publications.

The Master in Applied Data Science equips you
with in-demand technical skills. By applying theory
to real-life cases, you learn how to enhance
business processes. Courses combine methods
based on mathematics, computer science and
business management.
Innovative Techniques
Frankfurt School’s academic professors and business
professionals will expose you to contemporary and
future data science trends and techniques.You will
learn how to apply machine learning methods,
algorithms and mathematical modelling to solve
business problems, whilst addressing the latest

AI Lab & Hackathons
As a student you will have access to our AI Lab
where many of your classes take place.The AI Lab
is a space where new learning concepts can be

The AI Lab is equipped with four high-end

DATA SCIENCE
Cooperation Company Project
The Cooperation Company Project gives you exposure
to real-world experiences in combination with your
theoretical studies.Throughout the third semester
you will work in groups on small, current data
science projects with one of our leading partner
companies.A key aspect is that you will work on a
project from start to finish, thus gaining end-to-end,
hands-on experience to better prepare you to
enter the job market.

Field trips & IE exchange
During the second semester Master in
Management students travel to Brussels as part
of the Leadership module.They visit the European
Commission and take part in an interactive

For Master of Finance students, the Luxembourg
Offsite is integrated into the Responsible
Management in Finance module, where they learn
about sustainability in finance and attend an
exclusive lecture at the European Investment Bank.
Frankfurt School and IE Business School have
launched a joint finance education initiative,
enabling students to take part in short study trips
to IE's campus in Madrid and attend career and
networking events as well as company visits.

The Master of Finance, Master in Management
and Master in Applied Data Science offer the
3-Day Model, which is exclusive to Frankfurt
School.The 3-Day Model allows you to study a
full-time Master on only three days a week.This
leaves you with three working days to work part-
time, engage in extra-curricular activities and self-
study. Some lectures and excursions are organised
as block weeks.

Assessment Centre
Upon successful assessment of your application, we will invite you to
an interview and if necessary, to take the FS Admission Test. Interviews
can take place on campus or via Skype.

Admissions & Scholarships
Students are admitted on a rolling basis, meaning the earlier you
apply, the earlier you will receive an answer. Following the admission
decision, the Scholarship Committee will review scholarship
applications.To be considered for a scholarship you must complete the
relevant section within the online application.

FS Scholarship
The FS scholarship is merit-based and considers extracurricular activities,
social commitment, intercultural skills, international experience, professional
experience and academic performance.
KPM Scholarship
A total of one million euro has been donated by Professor Dr. h.c. Klaus-Peter
Müller (KPM), Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Commerzbank AG and
Honorary Chairman of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management Foundation,
in order to support German students with outstanding profiles on a needs and
merit basis.
FIRM Scholarship
Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation supports the Master
of Finance students who take the Risk Management concentration. Students
may be awarded scholarships covering up to two semester fees. Members of
this concentration will have the opportunity to win the monetary Risk Management
award, which is presented during the graduation ceremony.
