Acerca de
The National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD) is a national not-for-profit association representing governmental public health department HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis programs. Health departments are the “central authorities of the nation’s public health system” and, as such, bear the primary public sector responsibility for health. Health department HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis programs are responsible for significant federal, state and local resources. With their resources, health departments take leadership over developing comprehensive public health responses to HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis in order to protect the health and wellness of their constituents.
