The survey results from the June 10th 2010 NFPtweetup event showed that:
1) Attendees overwhelmingly enjoyed the event, finding it a great opportunity to meet others in the field and discuss case studies.
2) The event exceeded attendees' expectations by providing a relaxed and social learning environment where good questions were asked.
3) Attendees felt inspired and found the breakout sessions to be more informative on how best to engage with social media.
4) The venue and timing were suitable with most preferring evening events, and attendees wanted to explore topics like how smaller charities use social media effectively.

9. questions and issues still to be explored? How the presenting organisations used social media before - itsstarting point? Can we have presentations from teams where there are 1 or 2 people? What percentage of the people at NFPtweetup were using social media for fundraising? Use social media for identifying people who would be natural supporters, but don't know about you? Perhaps to hear more from those hosting it – Beautiful World and JustGiving Anyone using Google Buzz? Or has anyone tried? Developing a voice online which is balanced between fundraising and services and campaigns. How do much smaller charities use social media effectively? #Good #use #of #hashtags
10. which topics would you like to be explored? ‘I trusted the organisers to bring us good presentations, and my trust wasn't misplaced!’
11. did you participate at the event or online? Out of all that participated, a quarter of those contributed by following the Twitter stream online. ‘Absolutely loved tonight's #NFPtweetup, met new people – chatted to old hands ’
12. which services or tools did you use during the event? Others included: Seeismic, dabr.co.uk, Echofon, Twitter for Blackberry & TwitBird
13. would you like to attend another NFPtweetup? how regularly do you think NFPtweetup should be held? Everyone would like to attend another NFPtweetup event! The majority would like the NFPtweetup event to be kept at being held quarterly. ‘Well done. Enjoyable and useful as ever.’
