Following are the Excerpts from the blog posts by the well known

These would certainly help you in your endeavors:
3 Signs You Need to Broaden Your Focus
The lens through which leaders view the world can help or hinder
their ability to make good decisions. If your lens is too narrow, you
risk making everything all about yourself or your team. While it can be

Here are three signs it might be time to zoom out: Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs
helps to explain how these needs

things can be overpowering. Ask yourself what really matters
most and focus on that. Maslow’s Need Hierarchy
2. You put yourself first. A tight focus doesn't leave room for
others. Consider the needs of those around you. 1. Physiological needs - air, food,

3 Ways to turn into a Talent Magnet
The most successful businesses often thrive because of their talent.
Getting the best people should be at the top of every manager's list. To
become a talent magnet, try developing these three habits:
1. Get to know talent before you need it. Spend time networking in
your industry. Figure out who the shining stars are and what
excites them about their work. Fostering these relationships early
will pay off later.
2. Sell yourself, not the business. The most talented people get
excited about working with leaders they can trust and learn from.
Be sure people know why they should want to work for you.
3. Take time to cultivate. The best talent is likely busy with other
projects. Think of recruiting these people as a long-term game:
regularly update them about your business and vision for the
future. - adapted from "The Six Habits of a Talent Magnet" by
Tsun-yan Hsieh with Anthony Tjan.
3 Things to Do Before Giving a Promotion
Promotions are a useful tool for recognizing and motivating top
employees. Next time you consider moving someone to the next level,
do these three things first:
1. Assess current performance. Be sure the employee can do the
job you might promote her into. Take a look at her current
performance and the markers that indicate future performance.
2. Make sure there is a match. Consider whether the new job is
something she will enjoy doing. Just because someone is good at
a job, doesn't mean she will take pleasure in it.
3. Experiment before pulling the trigger. Design an assignment that
is similar to the tasks and challenges of the new job to test the
employee's ability. - adapted from "When to Reward Employees
with More Responsibility and Money" by Amy Gallo.

Movie Review
‘Agneepath’
Director: Karan Malhotra
Cast: Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra
Story: Vijay’s father is killed by drug lord ‘Kancha Cheena’ even
while Vijay is still a child. He grows up with the astute desire to
seek revenge and joins the gang of another drug lord, Rauf Lala.
Does he succeed? Or is ‘Kancha Cheena’ too mighty for him?
Verdict:
‘Agneepath is a surefire hit, no questions asked!’ – Komal Nahta ‘koimoi.com’ - 4/ 5 stars
‘Like its original, Agneepath is loud and lengthy revenge sage. And while not as blood-soaked or explicit,
it bombards the screen with its escalated, larger-than-life tone, vivid colours and robust imagery.’ –
Rediff.com – 3/5 stars
‘With Bollywood being obsessed with remakes in recent times, Agneepath is an important lesson on
how to pay proper tribute to the original. Despite the original being his home production, Karan
Johar attempts playing with fire (treading uncharted territory) with Agneepath and emerges
victorious. Agneepath has the fire for a lustrous entertainer!’ – Gaurav Malani, TNN - Better than Good

The update can be summarized by the following

an empty box passed over it.
It was, apparently, highly successful, as their
defect rate fell to zero and everyone was
thrilled. Only one problem…anyone with 6
Sigma experience will tell you that a zero defect
rate just doesn’t happen. So they investigated.
During an inspection of the line, they found that
a few feet before the scale was a Rs. 200 fan
which blew any empty boxes into a recycle
bin. When they inquired further they were told:
“One of the guys put it there because he was
tired of walking over to the scale every time a
bell went off.”
The moral of the story…keep it simple, smarty!’
