2. Leonardo Da Vinci was born on the 15 th of April, 1452 and died on May 2, 1519.

3. Leonardo was born in April 15 th , 1452 at Vinci in the region of Florence. His father’s name was Piero Da Vinci and his mother was Caterina . Vinci

4. All his actions seem inspired and everything he does clearly comes from God

5. Little is known about Leonardo's early life. He spent his first five years in the hamlet of Anchiano, then lived in the household of his father, grandparents and uncle, Francesco, in the small town of Vinci. There were only two recorded incidents which happened when he was young. One was when he was a baby, a kite fell down from the sky and hovered over his cradle with the feathers brushing off his face. The second one was when he explored the mountains and found a cave and was scared that there was a monster inside but was curious and continued exploring the cave.

6. At the age of fourteen, Leonardo was apprenticed to one of the most successful artists of his day, Andrea di Cione, known as Verrocchio. Verrocchio's workshop was at the centre of the intellectual currents of Florence, assuring the young Leonardo of an education in the humanities.

7. From 1476-1513, He painted many paintings for people. Some of them were kings and one gave him a house as a reward.

8. He had no dreams or aspirations but he strongly believed in god .

9. He wished he could understand all the major changes in life.

10. Leonardo died at Clos luce,France on May 2 ,1519 of old age.
