viewers to participate remotely.
NOWCastSA would like to work with you to make your
event accessible to the public at prices you can afford, and we
make it easy for your supporters to help through underwriting
and sponsorship. We can further enrich your events through the
creation of complimentary videos or slideshows and by
connecting viewers with relevant local data. We also provide
training to organizations that wish to learn to use their own
equipment to produce live webcasts in house.

Why webcast live?
NOWCastSA webcasts are like public television on the Internet, but webcasts don’t just show people what is going on: With the NOWCastSA
platform, people can actually participate in your event live as it is happening or come back and replay the video later from wherever they are.
Give your event global reach: Last year, 26,230 viewers from 76 countries spent an average of 5.35 minutes on NOWCastSA.com.
Increase local engagement: Texans spent a total of 4,122 hours watching NOWCastSA videos on YouTube in 2015 - and more
than 56,068 individual users logged on to NOWCastSA.com from devices in San Antonio.

STANDARD WEBCAST RATES
NOWCastSA’s standard rate for a live webcast or video production is $3,200 for events up to five hours including
setup and take-down. Events five to nine hours including setup and take-down are $4,400. Setup and take-down time
varies by venue and event. There may be fees for time not included in the original estimate.
The “usual” includes:
• One pre-production site visit and technology test (one hour max)
• Commercial-free live webcast via YouTube - can be embedded on any website live or later. Limited on-
screen graphics (lower thirds, titles)
• Archived video hosting via YouTube - usually available immediately following the event
• Pre-event social media campaign to encourage people to attend in-person and/or online
• Live Twitter and Facebook social media activity during the event, including live chat
• Post-event social media activity on the availability of archive video for replay
• One analytics report following the webcast.
• One DVD of the production
This rate assumes the availability of a hard-line
Internet connection, reasonable lighting and access
to an audio system. Additional services are available
for a fee, such as additional site visits, inclusion of
remote participants (via Skype or Google Hangout),
post-production/editing, custom graphics, music,
promotional videos or slideshows, lighting or raw
video.
NOWCastSA is a nonprofit public charity. It
publishes its content, including webcasts and videos,
on NOWCastSA.com for free public access under a
Creative Commons ShareAlike 2.0 Unported
License. NOWCastSA does not produce private or
limited-use content.
NOWCastSA may recognize its sponsors and
partners during live webcasts and in videos.
Exclusive sponsorship or underwriting is not
guaranteed at this rate.
NOWCastSA is not responsible for technology
interruptions outside of its control (poor Internet
connection, loss of server, etc.) Rates will not change
if an anticipated live broadcast is not possible -
NOWCastSA will instead record the event and
upload the video after the fact if a live webcast is not
possible.
Service fees are nonrefundable.

Early bird discount: Commit to paying for NOWCastSA services in full up front and receive a 10 percent discount on your webcast or
video production. Just send us your check or credit card payment within 10 days of receiving your invoice.
