Project
The US Regulatory Reporting Engine (USRRE) project is part of the External Reporting Program. The key driver for this project is
that currently there is no single tool to support the end-to-end filing of US Regulatory Reports with the US banking regulators,
including Federal Reserve Board, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the US
Department of the Treasury. This project will include the implementation and automation of critical regulatory reports in phases
through 2016. Currently a large amount of time is required to manually compile the data for regulatory reporting resulting in
inadequate time for data analysis. CFR (Corporate Financial Reporting) spends approximately 80% of their time preparing the
Page 4
5. Narasimha Murthy Kapa
report and only 20% of their time analyzing the data. Ideally, these numbers are reversed with more time spent in analysis over
production. The purpose of this project is to implement a vendor solution (Axiom) to support the end-to-end report filing process
for the Tier 1 and CCAR regulatory reports (Tier 1 has been designated by CFR as critical reports).
In addition, this initiative will look to eliminate as many manual processes as possible as reports are migrated onto Axiom. There
is also a separate project to introduce a vendor solution for template submissions into CFR. Axiom is the recommended vendor
as its standard build includes functionality to support template creation, distribution and aggregation.

Within the FDW workspace BASEL is the application that provides risk reporting for Derivatives reports to the Federal
Government. Source data from Credit risk infrastructure, securities, retail finances, failed trades is validated, transformed and
stored in the Finance Data Warehouse – BASEL tables. This process is performed with the help of Ab Initio as the data
warehousing tool. The stored data is used to calculate risk and provide the statistics to the Fed through reports. Reports are
generated through Business Objects. The transformation of data from tables to reports is again performed by Ab Initio.

Intro scope is an Application Performance Management tool which provides service assurance. It is not a solution provider but a
performance monitoring tool which gives enough data to trouble shoot the bottlenecks in an application and helps the network
admin to take decisions.
It supports monitoring of the Technologies/Servers like Web logic, Web sphere, J Boss, Tomcat and SOA
It is having three major modules-Agent, Enterprise Manager, and Work Station
Agent will be sending the data for every 7.5 sec to Enterprise Manager.
Enterprise Manager is a middle ware component which receives the data from agents for every 7.5 sec, processes it for every 15
sec and stores it in the SmartStor database, which is in flat file format.
Workstation provided Alerts, Dash Boards and Metrics grouping. It is used to access Smart Store database. It can give you the

Project
Free Flow Output Manager is an output management software product targeted for production printers that primarily work with
publication style documents (e.g. books, pamphlets, specifications). Its primary purpose is to sit in front of a fleet of production
printers and manage the flow of print jobs submitted to them. It is implemented as five java applications (CLI, server, Directory
Polling and Port Controller). All FFOM applications are installed on a single Windows 2003 server. Although the FFOM
applications are installed on a single host, its primary graphical user interface is accessed through a Web browser and can
therefore be run on any connected host.
