Let me tell you something about me first:
My name is Krištof Balla.
I´m 15 years old.
I´m from Slovakia.
I was born in Martin, which is a city in the
middle of Slovakia. Martin has around
65 000 people.
Now I live in a small village Košťany nad
Turcom. Košťany lies near Martin.

5. • I study at secondary grammar school called
Gymnázium Jozefa Lettricha. I´m in the fifth grade
which is called kvinta. My school is pretty but the
lunches aren´t tasty enough. My hobbies are football,
hockey, skiing and many other sports, tourism and so
on. .. . My favourite football team is Chelsea. I like fun,
my family and friends. I don´t like boring people and
injustice.
• Let me introduce you to my family now: my father´s
name is Ján and my mother´s name is Simona. My
sister´s name is Benita. She is 14 years old. They live
together with me. I have a dog. It´s a yorkshire terrier.
It is called Enny. That´s all about me and my family. .

Hi I am Dalibor and my nickname is Čečo.
I was born 15 years ago , in 1998.
My sign is pisces thah means I was born in March, exactly on the 2.3. .
So my father´s name is Luboš and mother´s name is Lubomíra.
I have two brothers. First is now 18 years old so he is older and second is 8
years old so he is younger.
Name Dalibor is of slavonic origin and means to recede.
I was born in Trnava which is big city in south-west Slovakia.
I went only once to kindergarden in Trnava because we (with family)
moved from Trnava to Martin. Here (in Martin) we have lived for 7 years
and again we moved to Trnava. All this moving was difficult and since 2005
I have lived here in Martin.
I attend highschool Jozefa L. and I am in my fifth year. In the past I went to
elementary school in Záturčie(Aurela Stodolu) and in Trnava I was go to
the Angeli Merici school.

8. Mattiás Hurych
My name is Mattias Hurych and I
am fifteen years old. I was born in
1998 in Banská Bystrica. I live in
village Valca with my parents and
my younger brother.

9. • My father´s name is Peter and my mother´s name is
Lucia. I study at secondary grammar school in Martin.
• I have brown eyes and black hair. I wear glasses. I am
talkative, friendly but very lazy. . . .
• In my free time I love playing computer games and go
out with my friends. I go to guitar lessons in Martin and
art lessons to private school.
• I like sports, for example : basketball, football, tennis, or
hockey. . . . My favourite team is the Los Angels Kings
and my favorite basketball team is Miami Heats.

10. Lenka Javorková
My name is Lenka Javorková. It is a
Slovak name. I am 16 years old. I live
in Trebostovo, which is a village near
Martin with beautiful surroundings.
I live with my parents and my older
sister who attends university in
Trnava. I study at secondary
grammar school in Martin. I am in
my fifth year and I like it.

11. I am going to tell you something more about myself. I
have long fair brown hair and brown eyes. I am quite
tall.
I think I am a positive person. I am quite talkative and
friendly. I am also lazy since I don´t like cleaning and
learning. In my free time I often go for a walk and I go
outside with my friends. I absolutely love sleeping. I´m
keen on watching television and listening to music or
going to cinema. I also have a part-time job in
Neografia ( a printing company).

12. Nikola Kovalčíková
My name is Nikola and I´m sixteen years
old.
This name comes from French and means
„victory“.
My star sign is virgo because I was born in
September.
I was born and I live in Martin. It's not big
but I really like my hometown.
I don't have any brothers or sisters and
that´s a pitty but I have one dog Jacky ,he's
like my sibling. I live with my
grandparents because my parents live and work in
Italy. She means so much to me and I love her.
I have visited secondary grammar school already for
five years and I like it here.

13. I have long, dark brown hair but my natural colour of
my hair is blonde. My eyes are blue somewhat gray
and I have two quite visible scars on the forehead.
One of them is from last winter, from snowboarding. I
have often good mood , so I think I'm quite a positive
person. I´m very friendly too,and I'm for any fun.
One of my worst features is the competitiveness.
One of my hobbies is volleyball. I have three trainings
within a week. One of my favourite seasons is winter
because I can ride on snowboard .No doubt, snow is the
most wonderful creation of the nature.
I spend a lot of time with my friends, too. When I
have free time I read books. I like detective or
fantasy stories. And I really love drawing. Every time
when I'm bored I must draw something. And that's all
about me for now.

14. Lea Novosedliaková
My name is Lea
Novosedliaková.
I’m Slovak and I live in Martin.
I am 15 years old and I will be
16 in February.
I have studied at Gymnázium
Jozefa Lettricha since 2009.
I really love drawing and
playing volleyball, reading
books and maybe playing
piano.

15. • I have visited art school every Friday for 10
years. Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday and sometimes on Fridays I have a
volleyball training in my club VK TASK or at
school. And every Saturday we have a
match.
• I live with my brother and a cat. My parents
are divorced so every two weeks we move
from my mother to dad or from dad to
mother.
• I have one younger brother. His name is Filip.
He is 14 years old and he plays hockey.

16. Ivana Papajová
• My name is Ivana
Papajová. I live in
Slovakia in Martin. My
parents are divorced. I
live with my mum and
sister. She is 19 years
old. She studies at
university. I was born on
the 22nd August 1997 it
means I am 16 years old.
My star sign is Leo. I go
to secondary grammar
school in Martin.

17. • I am going to tell you about myself. I
have long brown hair but I am a natural
blonde and with blue eyes. I do not wear
glasses I like good food, books, people
and travelling. And I like to laugh. I
think I am a positive person, friendly,
lazy, sociable. In my free time I go to
cinema and I go out, to visit my
grandparents and my family. I do not
have any pets but I would like a dog.

18. Tereza Ščurová
• My name is Tereza. I am 15 years old, I was born in 1998. My
sign is Taurus. I live in Dražkovce near Martin in Slovakia. It is a
calm city in the middle of Žilina region. I visit secondary
grammar school. I am in my fifth year.
• I live with my parents and my dog. I don’t have any brothers or
sisters. My mum works as a nurse
and my dad is an engineer. He
travels a lot abroad and he doesn’t
spend a lot of time at home.

19. I have quite short blond hair and blue eyes. I wear
glasses to the distance. I have had a scar on my
forehead since I was 7 years old. I think I am a
positive person but I have bad character features
of course, for example I am really selfish. I am
rather shy and that is sometimes a disadvantage.
In my free time I play tennis with my dad or cousin.
Our whole family love tennis. My cousins played
in Slovak representation in past years. They are
abroad now. I go to English classes on Tuesday
and Thursday. I visit tutorage from German, too. I
can play piano and I can swim quite well, I visited
swimming course in the past. I had to finish
because I had health problems. That´s all for now.

20. Ondrej Václavík
• Hi,
my name is Ondrej. I´m 15
years old. I was born in
Bánovce nad Bebravou. I live in
Martin and I study at secondary
grammar school Jozefa
Lettricha in Martin. I´m in the
5th class. I have one sister and
parents. We live in the city part
which is called Priekopa.

21. • I have fair short hair, I don´t wear glasses.
• I´m a friendly person. I´m not very talkative. I'm
optimistic only in some things. I´m a very lazy
person.
• I like sport, I do karate twice a week. When I was
young I playd tennis. But I´m a sports fan, too.
• My favourite team in NHL is Chicago Blackhawks.
By the way they won Stanley cup last year. 
• I like going out with ma friends.
• I don´t like going to schol.
• I don´t have any home animal any cat, dog , fish .

22.  My name is Klaudia Varinská .
My dad wanted to give me the
name that ends of „ia“. I am
from Slovakia and I live in
Martin , which is a city in the
north of Slovakia . I live with
my parents and one older
sister. I have a dog , his name
is Nicolas. My dad‘s name is
Ján and my mum‘s name is
Soňa. My sister is Viktória and
she is 22 years old. She goes
to college. My star sign is
virgo. I am 16 years old and I
go to Secondary grammar
school Jozefa Lettricha in
Ľadoveň. I attend the fifth
grade.

23. • I am going to tell you about myself. This time I have brown
hair but I am a natural blonde . I have dark eyes .
Sometimes for example , when I read and write , I wear
glasses but I want to get contact lensens soon. I think I am
a positive person. I am extrovert and friendly and I am
very talkative but sometimes I want to take a while myself.
In my free time I love going out with my friends and eating
good food and I really like sport , for example tennis and
volleyball and running . In the past I went to the Ski Team
Martinské Hole and I skied for Slovak Cup . I won the
seventh place in the Slovak Cup of giant slalom.
