2. ABSTRACT
• The intention of the game is to allow the users to practice their
problem solving skills in a fun and entertaining manner. It will also be
a tool for teachers to evaluate the students. Teachers of the grades 1
and 2 students will use the game to track development in individual
students and as a possible marking guide.
• This game will be functioning as a user skills improver as we will be
developing it to speed up the learning process of the end user.
• It will function as an essential tool for decision making and will going
to be running flawlessly on windows environment.
• It will also act as a diagnostic tool for assessment and it will help to
lower anxiety.
3. BACKGROUND
This game consists of modern platformer game techniques
like camera follow, change of state etc. The sole purpose of
this is to give the player to make strategic decisions and
make quick responses based on the scenario. It will be
developed using C# and Unity Game Engine. Most of now a
days locally developed games lack of creativity and effort to
make them more user friendly. We as a team will try to
address these issues by making this game more flexible and
smoothly organized.
4. PROBLEM DEFINITION
There is an ever-present need for alternative teaching tools in the
elementary school system. As children are being exposed to
computers at increasingly younger ages, the demand for effective and
engaging educational software will continue to increase.
Unfortunately, most currently available educational games simply
cannot compete with most other forms of entertainment available to
children today. These simplistic games often fail to grasp the attention
of children when compared to most commercially available non-
educational video games, movies, and television shows.
What is needed is a computer game – to help students in grades 1 & 2
with problem-solving skills - a game so appealing that kids will

• The gaming software does not require any additional or specialized hardware in order to
operate. Existing hardware such a keyboard and mouse will be the only hardware required for
input to the game.
• Should not require regular maintenance.
• Data should be portable and it should be upgradable.
• The software should be able to run 99% of the time when launched.
• The game should occupy at most 200MB of hard drive space and 300MB of RAM. It will also be
kept simple enough to run smoothly on a system having no more then a 1GHz processor and
2GB of RAM.
• Maximum time from launching the game until it is playable will be 30 seconds.
7. MAIN FUNCTIONS
• Game will be single player and will have be a 2D Platformer game. It
consists of modern platformer game functions like camera follow,
multiple player animations, state changes, collectables etc.
• Will have a clean interface with added flexibility and this game can
enhance the perception of the player and response time.
• Will be consisting of two characters and one character will be
controlled by the gamer. Gamer will have to manipulate the
character in order to win the game by destroying the other
character.

• Unity Game Engine - Unity is a cross-platform game engine developed by
Unity Technologies and used to develop video games for PC, consoles, mobile
devices and websites. First announced only for OS X, at Apple's Worldwide
Developers Conference in 2005, it has since been extended to target 27
platforms. Nintendo provides free licenses of Unity 5 to all licensed Nintendo
Developers along with their software development kits (SDKs) for the Wii U and
Nintendo 3DS Family.
