Off- Limits Establishments List has been updated: The Fort Riley Armed Forces Disciplinary Control Board occasionally places
local business on an off-limits list to members of the Armed Forces. This action is in accordance with Army Reg (AR) 190-24,
paragraph 2-6a. POC is Directorate of Emergency Services is 785-239-6797. You may find this list here on this site:

DFAS Scam: A current scam first reported by Fort Carson where soldiers are asked to pay $350 for a service that does not exist. As you can see
from the attachment we have a scam going on trying to get money from our service members. We already have some members that have paid
the money. I need everyone's help in getting the word out as soon as possible. As you can see from the attachment they have copied the DFAS
logo as well as the Department of Defense logo on the paper so it makes it appear it's coming from DFAS. Please see attachment and message
below.

4. Want to help out and Volunteer? There are several elder adults in JC in need of help cutting back shrubs, grass, tree limbs from off the house
etc. Some need painting, minor repair interior and exterior and one lady recently wheelchair confined needs a ramp built so she can get out of
her house. Some of the projects will require experts such as the ramp - one would have to know how to construct this safely and at the correct
angles. Other projects simply need volunteers willing to give up a few hours to do minor things. The conditions are that the person or family
must supply all of the needed supplies i.e. paint, brushes, lumber, nails, etc. Some may not have the needed equipment - saws, hedge trimmers
etc. so we will have to scrounge that kind of stuff up. These projects could be a squad/Plt challenge or if Soldiers need community service due to
DUI or other actions, they could help with one of the projects. I currently have four requests that need prompt attention if anyone is available.
Please ask them to call me and I will put them in touch with the tenant or give them the address. Vicky Bobbit from JC SRS I.C.A.R.E. Program is

Tutor.com – Eligibility: As you know, we are in the midst of budget cuts. Although Tutor.com for U.S. Military Families will continue to serve
eligible users worldwide 24/7, the Department of Defense has issued funding modifications that will change eligibility for some adult users.
These modifications were implemented to make more tutoring sessions available to dependent children in grades 1-12. Previously, the MWR
Library program funded access to the Tutor.com Adult Education Center, College Center and Career Center for adult Active Duty U.S. military
service members, their spouses and their adult dependent children. As of April 2, 2012, the Tutor.com Adult Education Center, College Center
and Career Center will no longer be available to Active Duty Army, Air Force, USMC and deployed National Guard and Reserves adult service
members, their spouses and their adult dependent children. Note: the Navy General Library program has separately funded Tutor.com usage for
Navy adult service members, their spouses and their adult dependent children, so these centers will remain in place for the Navy program and
its personnel. To ensure that the Tutor.com for Military Families program does not exceed available funding, we are monitoring usage by Active
Duty Army, Navy, Air Force, USMC, National Guard and Reserves dependent children in grades 1-12. During high-demand times, these students
may see a message that no tutors are available. Students are encouraged to connect again at a later time or use the resources in the SkillsCenter
resource library, which are available 24/7 and when a connection to a live tutor is not available. On April 2, 2012, revised program eligibility
information will be available at www.tutor.com/military/eligibility.

Sew Much Comfort provides FREE adaptive (velcro closures) clothing to support the unique needs of our wounded service members from all
branches of the military and National Guard. These injuries require large fixator, prosthetics and casts that are too bulky to fit under ordinary
clothing. Without adaptive clothing, wounded service members are limited to wearing hospital gowns. We designed the clothing to appear as
normal civilian clothing. Sew Much Comfort is the only organization providing FREE adaptive clothing to wounded service members. Since our
founding in November 2004, we have distributed more than 115,000 pieces of adaptive clothing. I would be happy to talk with you on the
