The group cannot decide between two initial romance genre ideas for their project - one involving a couple not spending time together who receive messages about forgiveness from fortune cookies, and another a comedy/romance about a couple in a restaurant with an unclear resolution. Both ideas involve a problem, resolution and moral structure from a short film but differ in settings and narrative details.

2. INTRODUCTION
As a group we cannot decide on what our idea can be because we have two
different initial ideas which are both from the same genre which is Romance.

3. IDEA 1 – ROMANCE GENRE
This idea has come from an inspirational short film – Signs and Table 7. We
are going to have the narrative structure of a climax (problem), resolution and
moral. The moral will be forgiveness and problem will be not spending
valuable time as a couple with each other.
Setting will be in the restaurant, they will get there resolution from fortune
cookies or from horoscope alerts on their phones.

4. INITIAL IDEA 2
Narrative – problem, confusion
Genre – comedy and romance
Setting – restaurant
There is not a clear resolution at the moment but a happy ending for one
couple.
