Peru Potable Water Project Our Project goal: Construct a sustainable, safe drink-water system for the community of Cerro Blanco. 1943100-346075Cerro Blanco is a community consisting of 100 families and 560 people. Most of the families are considered poor by the standards of the Peruvian government, subsisting on less than $150 per month. Many of the adults lack full-time employment or are unemployed. The main source of employment is agricultural labor and other types of unskilled manual labor. The water system will deliver clean, safe drinking water to every family in the community, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The system will have excess capacity for future growth!
