MOVE Week is the flagship event of the NWM campaign:
MOVE Week is an annual Global event (since 2018) and has been an integral part of the NowWeMOVE
campaign since 2012. MOVE Week is an open platform for anyone with an interest in getting people
active to showcase their activity or event to their community. That person, group or organization is a
MOVE Agent.
Since 2012 MOVE Week saw more than 15 000 events organized globally and
millions of people moved.
MOVE Week events come in all shapes and sizes, and for all ages.

WHY MOVE Week?
MOVE Week is a large scale endeavor that capitalizes on
the strengths of a well-founded and growing sector of
sport and physical activity.
• With MOVE Week we raise awareness and celebrate
physical activity.
• MOVE Week has thematic or political relevance and
alignment with own priorities.
• Easy-to-use and communicate through predesigned
tools and marketing materials.
• Well positioned and visible – MOVE Week has
national and international recognition through
press/social media support.
• MOVE Week is an entry point to engage with the local
communities.
• MOVE Week could help with the engage with potential
new members, clients.

Promoting physical activity for health was the highest ranking motivator for MOVE Agents 82.2% 6000 MOVE Agents MOVEAgents = Events organizers Acrossthe World awiderangeof organisations, voluntary groups, clubs and individuals, known as MOVE Agents joined the NowWeMove Campaign and set up and delivered physical activity events.
