Description:
The Dual Mode TUD aims that all students finish at least one E-Learning-Event during all
courses of studies and that the students produce in perspective maximum 30% of their study
achievements in E-Learning-Courses. Further all digitised contents are accessible as a TUD
OPEN Courseware to a broader public by the means of the WWW.

The Dual Mode TUD is pursued at all organizational levels of the TUD: Presidium, all
departments, fields, management, and facilities. The activities are coordinated by the
instrument of aim arrangement and are held compatible. To support the Dual Mode
development the TUD has founded an E-Learning-Centre.
To assure a high level of quality in E-Learning-Activities the TUD has implemented several
quality assurance instruments which mark E-Learning-Courses in the lecture list (‘E-Learning
Label’) according to qualitative and quantitative criteria. Based on an evaluation the
advancement of the E-Learning-Courses is secured.
