Each ambassador works within his or her own network to share information about ORCID, and ORCID ambassadors have been busy authoring blogs (four so far), tweeting (one Ambassador has sent more than 100 tweets about ORCID), presenting at conferences such as the Japan Library Fair and Pacific Rim Digital Library Alliance, and incorporating information about ORCID into scholarly communications training resources such as http://guides.lib.umich.edu/ORCID to support adoption and integration at their institutions.
Ambassadors are sharing information at conferences such as the Medical Library Association and are also volunteering to support ORCID outreach at events like the Society for Neuroscience and Modern Language Association national conferences. ORCID Ambassadors have access to a virtual toolkit and community in Basecamp, and they actively use this tool to seek advice and share updates.
