4. Marketing preconditions As seen from the researches data, the power of the Internet is often underestimated by both franchisors and franchisee. While franchisor mostly use their websites to give the information about their franchisee and their location, on average only 30% provide the franchisee with their own pages or sites. In most cases, the web presence of the franchisee is limited to a page within the franchisor site, saying nothing of a stand-alone site with own domains, which is a really rare thing on the current franchising market. In case the web presence is established only few of the franchising businesses fully leverage the web potential.
