Welcome to New England College’s webinar. My name is Angela and I will be your moderator for today. In a moment, I will be handing things over to our first speaker. Before we begin, I would like to explain how this presentation will work. To cut out the background noise, we’ve muted your phone. So you can hear the speaker, but they cannot hear you. At the end of the presentation, we will be answering as many questions as we have time for. To ask questions, just type your question into the chat box in the right-hand side of your screen and hit ‘Enter.’ Please feel free to ask your questions as you think of them, but please note that all answers will be held until the end of the presentation.
The presenters for today are Wayne Lesperance, Amy Rafferty, Kerri Hensley, and Pravina Shan. Dr. Amy Rafferty is Director of Distance Learning and has been teaching in NEC’s graduate school since 2002. She is also responsible for course development and the day-to-day operation of Online NEC. She frequently talks with prospective students about the online learning experience and the support they can expect as they complete their degree online. Wayne Lesperance is an associate professor of political science at New England College. His teaching and research interests run the gamut from international security issues to civic education. Professor Lesperance is a frequent commentator on area and national newspapers and is a regular guest on local and regional radio programs, where he is frequently quoted on public policy, the political process, and emerging trends in politics. He has also been named to the Union Leader’s “40 Under Forty” most influential citizens in New Hampshire in 2007. Kerri Hensley graduated from the MS Management Program in 2009 while working full-time. She is currently an Area Manager and continues to further her career by applying her NEC education to everyday, real-life work situations. We also have Pravina Shan , Senior Admissions Advisor, on board to answer any of your admissions questions. As an Admissions Advisor, Pravina walks new students through the entire admissions and financial aid process, making it easy for them to get started and pursue their degree. Okay, let’s get started with the presentation.
