dealing/disturbances
Like, this one, 4 citizens
reporting the same
dealers causing nuisance:
“(1) “ I see them, they are dealing.”
(2) “There are a few around the
Hoekstraat as well…“ (3) “another
one at the corner of the Oude
Kijk/Visserstraat” (4) “2 dealers
now at the corner of the Oude
Kijk/Visserstraat”.

= grew slightly
• Collaboration of citizens
= did not grow significantly, was already good
• Collaboration of police/municipality
= Citizens are mostly positive about the level of collaboration
with the police/municipality

Communication with citizens is key.
Keep it simple
Changing set ways of working isn’t easy
It’s not about technique, its about working
together
And what happened in the Groningen A-kwartier?
A Whatsapp group was set up
for citizens – police – and municipality.
