one at the corner of the Oude

= grew slightly 
• Collaboration of citizens 
= did not grow significantly, was already good 
• Collaboration of police/municipality 
= Citizens are mostly positive about the level of collaboration 
with the police/municipality

Lessons learned 
 Attention works! 
 A lot of value in working together, get 
yourself a thousand eyes! 
 Communication with citizens is key. 
 Keep it simple 
 Changing set ways of working isn’t easy 
 It’s not about technique, its about working 
together 
And what happened in the Groningen A-kwartier? 
A Whatsapp group was set up 
for citizens – police – and municipality.

  • 25. What we saw: • Trust = not significantly grown • Listening = citizens find police and municipality listened better than before CONCLUSION OF THE CITIZENS = a sympathetic and potentially innovative and usefull project 9 december 2014 25

Lessons learned  Attention works!  A lot of value in working together, get yourself a thousand eyes!  Communication with citizens is key.  Keep it simple  Changing set ways of working isn’t easy  It’s not about technique, its about working together And what happened in the Groningen A-kwartier? A Whatsapp group was set up for citizens – police – and municipality. 9 december 2014 26
