13. Port City of Victoria
• Victoria is the capital city of the Seychelles with attractions such as a Clock tower, the
Courthouse, the Victoria Botanical Gardens, the Victoria National Museum of History, the Victoria
Natural History Museum and the Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market.
• Victoria market is the local hotspot for the Seychellois people.

14. Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve
• In the heart of the small island of Praslin, the reserve, being a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has
the vestiges of a natural palm forest preserved in almost its original state.
• The famous coco de mer , from a palm-tree once believed to grow in the depths of the sea, is the
largest seed in the plant kingdom.
• In the 19th century, British General, Gordon, produced detailed 'proof' that the Vallée de Mai
was the Garden of Eden and that coca de mer was the tree of knowledge.

15. Aldabra Atoll
• The atoll, one of the largest in the world,
is comprised of four large coral islands which
enclose a shallow lagoon; the group of islands
is itself surrounded by a coral reef.
• Due to difficulties of access and the atoll's
isolation, Aldabra has been protected from
human influence and thus retains some
152,000 giant tortoises, the world's largest
population of this reptile.
• Aldabra Atoll is another UNESCO World
Heritage Site worth visiting in Seychelles.

16. Beau Vallon
• Beau Vallon is a bay on the north western coast of Mahé.
•It is known as a base for diving and snorkelling due to its clear waters and coral reefs.
•Besides many smaller hotels, it has three major ones - Le Meridien - Fisherman's Cove, the Berjaya
Beau Vallon and the Coral Strand.

17. Morne Seychellois National Park, Mahé
• The splendid Morne Seychellois National Park encompasses an impressive 20% of the land area of
Mahé and contains a wide variety of habitats, from coastal mangrove forests up to the country's highest
peak, the Morne Seychellois (905m).
• Choked in thick forest formation, the enigmatic, central part of the park is virtually deserted and can
only be reached by walking trails.

18. Cousin Island near Praslin Island
• Cousin Island is a Special Reserve Island, just off the coast of Praslin, first taken into the care of
Birdlife International to save one bird- the Seychelles Warbler, when its numbers were reduced to below
thirty.
• The Seychelles Warbler and the Seychelles Magpie Robin are the most notable of the birds species to
be seen on the island, the latter being surprisingly easy to see on a guided tour.

• St Pierre Island is a raised reef island made of granite.
• St. Pierre is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and yachting with the backdrop of a spectacular
Seychelles sunset.

• Two of the hottest nightspots in the Seychelles, La Faya Bar and the Tequila Boom Discotheque,
are at Bel Ombre in the Beau Vallon area on Mahé Island.
• Katiolo Night Club is the only discotheque that is by the beach. It is past the international airport
when travelling from Victoria and on the north side of Mahé Island.
• Barrel Night Club on Revolution Avenue in Victoria and Club Lovenut and Café in the centre of
Victoria near the taxi station are two other clubs.

• Level 3 Bar in the Docklands Building on Chemin Latanier Road offers high quality alcoholic drinks
while Konoba Restaurant is a bar and lounge at the Angel Fish Bayside Marina.
• Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort and Casino has two bars that offer evening entertainment. The
Silhouette Bar has live music and there is the Casino Bar in the casino.

Hotel in 2006 and the Indian Ocean’s Leading Casino in 2005.
PRASLIN NIGHTLIFE
• La Reserve Hotel, located off of Anse Volbert Beach, has three bars on the beach that are open to the
public as well as several good restaurants.
• The Jungle is considered the best club on Praslin Island and is open every Friday and Saturday night
from 10 p.m. to four a.m. There is a casino nearby on the Cote d’Or called Casino des Iles.
• On the floor over the market near St. Anne pier in Praslin Island is the disco Dome.
• Chateau San Souci on Praslin Island is a new hotel with several bars and a disco. The Kokoriko
discotheque offers homemade cocktails and dancing all night.

Day 1: Mahé Island (Victoria)

Victoria City Tour: Visit the Clock Tower which is a replica of the Vauxhall Clock Tower, London

Botanical Garden, another national monument, spread over 5 acres of land with well-maintained
gardens comprising of exotic and endemic plants and population of giant tortoises from Aldabra; and
the Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market with an attractive array of boutiques and shops selling
souvenirs, clothes and artwork.

24. Day 2: Mahé Island (Beau Vallon)
• After breakfast, leave for a visit to the Morne Seychellois National Park.
• After lunch, transfer to Le Meridien-Fisherman’s Cove on Beau Vallon.

31. VISA REQUIREMENTS
• Irrespective of the nationality of the visitor and his or her family members, there are NO VISA
requirements to enter Seychelles. However, the following documents must be shown in order to
obtain immigration clearance at the Seychelles International Airport:
1) A passport valid on the date of entry to and exit from Seychelles
2) Return or onward ticket
3) Proof of accommodation; including contact details
4) Sufficient funds for the duration of the stay
• Holders of a "Kinderausweis" issued to German minors (up to and including 15 years of age) may
enter Seychelles provided that this travel document contains a photo of the minor concerned.
• Presentation of all of the above documents will grant you a Visitor’s Permit that will be issued
upon arrival by the Seychelles Department of Immigration.
• The Visitor’s Permit is initially valid for the period of visit of up to one month. It can be extended
for a period of up to three months from the date of issue and capable of further extensions for
successive periods not exceeding three months at a time to a maximum period of twelve months,
provided that the person still meets the criteria of a bona fide visitor.
• The visitor's permit is issued free of charge for the first three months after which there is a fee of
SCR5,000 for extension covering each period of three months or any part thereof.
