2. Introduction
• Established in 2010, The College offers a range of courses in management,
marketing, human resources and international business and currently has
around 500 students enrolled across all of its courses. Courses are offered at
all levels from Certificate II to Graduate Diploma. The College is considering
opening several new campuses, and they want to make sure that they are
targeting potential students in the most efficient way possible. A new
partnership is being created, and like any partnership it has good things and
bad things.
3. Problem statement
• There are some problems that can make this partnership a little more distant
or complicated. One possible problem that I noticed is the fact that the school
has about 500 students, making it’s a difficult to manage company employees
within the school. The school will really need to be organized very well.
4. Business objectives
Outline the objectives from the partnership for both stakeholders. Regarding
the stakeholders, we can highlight the Project manager with the requirement to
develop a comprehensive business case for the partnership. We also have the
school on the other side, whose requirement is to check the partnership
proposal with the company and assess whether or not it is beneficial for them.
The company's employees, more and more qualified to exercise their function,
would be an objective to be achieved by the partnership.
To be a leader in vocational education and training
To establish and maintain high quality infrastructure supporting clients and
staff
To be well led, high performing, profitable and accountable
To develop our people and resources
5. Opportunities
• Increasing customer numbers: The company attracts more customers by the
popularity of the brand standard.
• Increasing lifetime value of the customer: King Edward VII College aims to
procure 100% of the cotton from more sustainable sources by 2020, meaning
cotton that is grown in a more sustainable way or recycled.
• Improving current products/services: King Edward VII College improves their
product in term of new services
6. Constraints
• With the opportunity above, the company may have more qualified workers,
who will have specific training very close to where they already work,
facilitating both sides. With this, the company would be restricting its
employees to that company, giving the envisioned direction for Grow's future.
7. Market analysis
Analysing the market, this type of partnership could add a lot to the
development of the company, making it have a differential and bringing with it a
peculiarity that can be unique to Grow Management Consultants.
• Consisting of people wishing to gain entry to the industry
• Also people already working in business and management who want to
formalise or develop their skills.
