The Challenge:
eCommerce forced Fluid Power Engineering to rethink how they managed orders.
Their traditional business was built the old fashioned way: their expertise in pneu-
matics combined with strong customer relationships. However, eCommerce orders
needed to be handled differently. Unfortunately, their legacy system was too rigid.
The issues that arose included:
 Managing differences between sales channels was too manual, leading to
potential errors.
 Growth in order volume required new warehouse staff, who found learning
the system difficult.
 Visibility of orders from sales and through eCommerce was limited.
The Solution:
Fluid Power Engineering selected Epicor and OzLINK. OzLINK integrates the Epi-
cor system to their UPS WorldShip software. The order is pulled real time from Epi-
cor and then processed in UPS WorldShip. Once the shipping is completed, Epicor
is updated with the shipping costs and the tracking information. The benefits in-
