8. A paragraph is a group of sentences based on a single
topic. It has three parts-
1. Topic Sentence (A sentence that introduces the
topic)
2. Supporting Sentences (A group of sentences that
support the topic sentence)
3. Concluding Sentence (A sentence similar to the topic
sentence that once again states the central idea.)

12. Science is there all around us, making our life more
comfortable. Everywhere around us we can see the
contributions of science. Science has helped the
medical field with modern machines, ways of
diagnosing disease, medicines, treatments, vaccines
etc. Science had made communication easier through
telephone, internet, email, television etc. In our homes,
we depend on too many gadgets like washing machine,
grinder, heater, iron box etc. to make our work easier.
So science is a great blessing.
