the public domain recipes from a few sources and our friends at Zydeco Bloody Mary Mix.

Step 1:
Grill: ½ lb bacon, 1.5 lb turkey or chicken breast (bought turkey, thought we were buying
chicken, must pay attention), 3 pieces chicken liver, 1 lb pork chops, 1 lb ground veal, 1 lb
ground lamb.
Meat should be cubed into small pieces.
Liver should be sliced thin until Alex gets grossed out.
Rabbit was $30 and not worth it.
Rattlesnake was special order.
Dump into large cooking pot.
Add vodka and bloody mary mix to medium glass. Discuss adding vodka to the chili. Add
to cooks instead.
Sear 1 poblano, 2 jalapeno, and 1 serrano chili peppers
Scrape the skin off
If you can roast them, that would be better
Sauté and dump into large cooking pot.
Sauté 4 garlic cloves, 1 medium onion and add 2 celery stalks with butter.
Dump onto large cooking pot.
Step 2:
Start to heat large pot.
Add 1 can beef and 1 can chicken broth
1 large can of crushed tomatoes
1 bottle Shiner Bock Black Label beer
Dump into pot

Step 3:
The Texas All In – more powder, 2 tablespoons of the rest – Dump it in. Chili powders were
1,4, and 8 in spice levels

Add vodka and bloody mary mix to medium glass. Stare at pot. Discuss adding vodka
again. Realize there is not a lot left. Add to cooks instead.
Step 4:
Hurriedly microwave 1 lb of chorizo when it won’t reduce fast enough
Smash flat and add to pot
1 small can of tomato paste
Dump in pot
Stir
Step 5:
Reduce.
Stir with love.
Simmer.
Stir.
Step 6:
Serve.
