Parag is a full-time member of the faculty in the Department of Geology at Cotton College, a premier institution of higher education in the NE region of India. His work profile involves teaching as well as active research. He delivers lectures in several courses at the UG and PG levels: Ore Geology, Mineral Exploration, Exploration Geophysics, Photogrammetry, Spatial modelling and analysis and Environmental Geology He is currently pursuing his PhD in the area of Hillslope Hydrology and Stability, Landslide Hazards.
