THE BUDDHA
Siddhartha Gautama (better known as the Buddha) was a Hindu
prince who renounced his position and wealth to seek enlightenment
as a spiritual monk.
He was born in Lumbini, during the time of social and religious
transformations.
He was protected from seeing the suffering of the world till 29 years
of age.
Then he saw the sufferings and then decided to attain elightenment.
MINDSET/VISION
A leader should have a vision.
Buddha had a vision i.e to end suffering.
He had made his mindset to achieve this.
Mindset and vision go hand in hand.
Without mindset , vision cannot be

ROLE MODEL/TRUST
No leader can effectively create a movement without first
being a role model.
Buddha was a role model to everyone gaining trust.
He dedicated himself to people.
This made people gain his trust.
He travelled and spread his teachings.
Trust is something that is earned.
HARDWORK/PATIENCE
Real leader understands anything you'll have to do , it
has to be done with lots of hardwork.
Hardwork also tests patience.
Paintings of buddha may look serene.
But indeed he went through alot.
Hardwork with patience is essential for a
leader.
Problems arise in every aspect.
The ability too handle problems and find a creative
solution is what is necessary in leader.
Buddha avoided many wars by this ability.
This allowed the disagreeing parties to work things
out without bias.
RESOLVING ISSUES
MANAGING/CHANGING
Leaders are expected to manage a team and take the
output in most efficient way possible.
Buddha routinely delegated responsibilites.
Based upon thier ability.
He realised their strenghts.
Assigned them work accordingly.
