2. The Black Death
The plague started in Asia and traveled to Europe. The Black
Death is the name for a terrible disease that spread
throughout Europe from 1347 to 1350. There was no cure for
the disease and it was highly contagious.
4. Treatment
The doctors had many methods of treating the black death but
none of them worked. The methods were to open the lumps up
with a knife then cover it with a warm layer of butter,
onion, and figs to draw out the poison. Another one was to
rub a live frog on the body of the victim.
