As Assistant State's Attorney in McHenry County, Illinois, Patrick Kenneally has tried more than 100 trials in cases of felonies and misdemeanors. He has conducted numerous hearings and authored many legal briefs, gaining experience in matters ranging from driving under the influence to reckless homicide. In 2009, Patrick Kenneally accepted the Peace and Justice Award given by victim advocacy organization Turning Point. Attorney Kenneally received the award for his prosecutorial work on behalf of domestic violence victims.
