You only have 1 body, and you need it for all your lifetime.
To make it last you must have a healthy life and take care of your body.
Healthy children become healthy adults.
Now we have to take a look to all the things we must do to make sure that our
body is going to be healthy and working until we get old.

1st Do the healthy habits test on the internet. Write the things you have to improve and how
you are going to do it.
2nd What kind of food do we have to eat every day? Do you eat as much as you have to?
3rd What kind of food do we have to eat only sometimes? Do you eat this kind of food?
4th How can you protect your eyes? And your skin?
5th When do you have to wash your hands? Why? Why is it important to change your clothes
and wash them frequently?
6th Why do you have to drink water better than any other things? How much water do you
have to drink? What can happen if you don´t drink enough water?
7th What are vaccines? What do we use them for?
8th Which are smoking consequences?
5. PROCESS
This is an individual work.
1. Do the quiz about your healthy habits on the internet. Do you
have to improve or learn something about healthy living?
2. Take a look at different websites which you can find in the
resources slide.
3. Prepare a poster, power point, word document, a book…(choose
one)

4. Show your classmates the work you have done.
6. PROCESS II
Some tips about different options:
- Word document: if you do a word document, you don´t need to print it.
You can send an e-mail or give it to the teacher in a USB memory stick.
- Power Point: if you do a power point, you can send an e-mail or give it
to the teacher in a USB memory stick.
- Book: you can use white paper, colour paper, card… put it together with
rope, wool, staples… Answer to each question on a page and do drawings.
You can do it big, small, very small….
- Poster: if you decide to do a poster you can do it with a card paper and it
can be a half of a big card paper or in a big card paper.

9. EVALUATION
The last day to give in the work is Friday 30th November 2012
The teacher will evaluate:
- The use of resources and information selection.
- Presentation (include images, drawings, use nice
handwriting…)
- If you stick to the questions asked or not.
- Explanation to the class of what you have done.
10. CONCLUSION
With this work you have learned basic tips to live a healthy life and
keep your body working for a long time.
Now you can help your family and friends by giving them advice on
how to take care of themselves.
