About the Company
The world is moving
towards gigabit
broadband with an
immersive media
consumption increasing.
Having access to
infrastructure that can
deliver high speed with
integrated media delivery
is crucial.
DOCSIS Wireless Microwave systems
can deliver triple-play services and
speeds comparable to existing fixed
line networks, and sometimes even
faster than the latest wireline
technologies. And for a fraction of the
cost.

Base Station
Transceiver is the counter part of the base station
and is located at the customer premises. It receives
BS signal and feeds it into CPE inside the home. It is
a bi-directional device mounted on a sattelite dish.
One transceiver is required per a single home, or a
common unit can also service an apartment block
with multiple homes or HFC network. Up to 50.000
users can be connected to one Base station.
Base station is an essential part of the Globtel AIR
wireless point-to-multipoint system. It uses
microwave-based transmission and supports
frequency ranges between 2 and 100 Ghz.
By using carrier aggregation it supports channel
bandwidth of up to 1 000 MHz. As a result the
throughput capacities are up to 41 Gbps per BS
(DOCSIS).
The base station is connected to the operator‘s core
network and transmits the signal to coverage area.
